I bought this for my bedbound MIL who just moved in with us and it’s been fantastic so far. We have a 1500 sq ft house and are within range everywhere in the house we go, including our basement.I like that this is battery operated so we don’t have to worry about charging anything and like that it doesn’t require wifi or bluetooth.I also really like the option to have the receiver on vibrate mode with no sound, which we use at night and often during the day, too. The vibration is strong enough that it will wake up the person who has the receiver on them but likely won’t wake up anyone else in the room (dogs and spouses alike).It was simple to set up and has been great for us so far!

I originally bought the system (same company) that needed to be charged and could be taken outdoors. My issue with that one was that my father would use the call button, but I didn't hear it because the battery needed charging. It was difficult to know when to charge the receiver. So I opted for this one that had a receiver always plugged in and one that was portable.It made a big difference, especially as my father needed more assistance. He didn't use it a lot in the beginning, but that changed as he became more immobile. I was able to hear the bell sounds loud and clear from upstairs or at the other end of the house, so the range is good. I didn't get to test it outsde but I would expect it to be as good as the system it replaced. The one thing I did not like were the choices of sounds for the receiver. Another plus was that it made my father feel safe while I was elsewhere in the house.

I had another one of these that had little receivers that devoured batteries , plus everytime I had to replace them I’d have trouble pairing the thing again. This version here is greatly improved. One receiver plugs into anoutlet and one does have a battery. But it works so well. My husband needs help even getting in and out of bed and all he has to do is push a button to page me. I hear it anywhere in the house and just outside the house as well. It’s a great help and gives me peace of mind

This is a very useful device and gives me a sense of more security. I’m an elderly woman who lived alone and fell a lot. When I fell I would have to call fire department to come help me up.My son moved in to be my caregiver a few months ago. This was the first thing he got for me.
