PAXCELL Robotic Pool Cleaner - Exceptional Pool Tool
Fellow Amazonians, this is a legit review. If you have a pool and don't have this Cordless Robotic pool cleaner, you should. I can attest, this really works. I placed this in the pool as instructed (charged and turned on), it took off like a champ! Cleaned the pool walls and floor with ease, in fact it cleaned so well, you could see where it cleaned in spots where the old could not. It did not get hung up anytime, even on the stairs and it did not get stuck on the floor drain suction, it just worked like a trooper! Actually, it was interesting to watch as it cleaned and went all the way up the walls and back down. The catch basket was unbelievably easy to clean out. We had a terrible wind, lightening storm last light and this cleaned it in no time and so well! I have a 11,000 gallon, cured pool with stairs. When it was done cleaning, it parked itself on the side and waited for me to use the hook (provided) and turn it off and park it for a few seconds to rinse, then I took it to plug in and charge (make sure to dry out where the charge cord plugs by canned air and/or cotton tipped swab. The power cord is RED, when it is charging and GREEN when it is fully charged and ready (4-5 hours to fully charge). I will tell you the manufacturer states, if you store more than 6 months, fully charge it first. The only think I wish it had was a charge table you could just sit it on like your iPhone instead of having to plug in, but not really a big deal. I got 50% off this item and thrilled to get rid of the old tethered skimmer vacuum cleaner (only vacuumed and did not scrub). This PAXFESS cordless robot cleaner SCRUBS and VACUUMS too and even cleans the walls - UNBELIEVABLE! Oh, I am not being compensated for this review, I actually have this item and truly love using it and the price was great!

Not Good at at all...
Had this one season and then it just started going around in circles. I would expect something of this price to last longer than that. Also has soon as the basket gets a bit of debris the machine begins to told upward and just run on the backwheels therefore not picking up anything off the bottom. A complete waste of almost 800 dollars. Do yourself a favor and avoid this rip off.

Good, bad, and ugly
We have a roughly 10'x40' fiberglass pool, 3' to 6' sloping depth. Have owned this robot for 3 weeks and I've run it about a dozen times. Purchased June of 2021.Pros: (1) very easy to empty and clean, far easier than similar products I've tried. The basket works really well. (2) Seems to have no issues with even fairly large leaves from a nearby magnolia tree. (3) i threw this in right after opening the pool and it did a decent job of cleaning off the winter grunge and scum from the bottom and sides of pool. Did not need to use the regular pool vacuum which was a nice surprise. (4) it's nice not having to worry about cords while it's running, caveats below.Cons: (1) really needs to have a toggle switch for a "bottom only" mode. We have an oddly shaped pool and this thing wastes at least half its charge trying to climb the walls. Sometimes I need the walls cleaned, but usually just the bottom. I'd like to have that option. Right now I charge it, run it, then charge and run it again to get the whole bottom clean. Would be nice to do it in one charge (2) I usually leave it covered when not in use, as the instructions are clear that water can damage the charger. Left it out one time and it got rained on, charger no longer works. It's a non standard charger and I can't figure out where to get a replacement. Just emailed their support for help. We'll see. If I can't get a replacement quickly I'll just return it (3) Not a huge deal but the plug that protects the charging connection on the robot when the robot is in use is very difficult to pull out when it's time to charge. While trying to pull it off one of the first times i yanked it real hard and it finally came loose but broke the little string that kept the plug attached to the robot. I now use a pair of needle nose pliers to get it loose.Overall it's ok. I caught it on sale. Would not be as happy if I had paid full price for it. in fairness this is the third robotic cleaner I've tried and none of them have been great.

Not impressed
We can get the pool water clear on our own, but there is always that stubborn layer of green algae that starts to grow on the bottom. I was really hoping this was the solution to our problem.I have been using the vacuum for three days in a row and I have to say, I am not impressed. I can't really tell if it is doing anything that makes a difference.1) I wish the basket caught more of the fine debris, most pass right through getting recirculated.2) It spends most of the time popping wheelies therefore the brush hardly ever actually hits the ground to scrub anything. Intructions say to hold it under and make sure there is no trapped air. I did that and even tipped it upside down and opened the basket to release trapped air underwater. Nothing solved the problem.3) This thing takes FOREVER to charge considering the little bit of work you actually get out of it.I don't think it is worth the high price tag. I am going to give ot a few more days in case I finally start to see a difference or in case there is a learning curve. If it still is no good, I will likely return it and get a different one.
