Parijata Block Filter Cartridge for RO Water Purifier

I have experience in servicing appliance and usually buy directly from authorized distributor but I had to buy this filter from Amazon during the 1st wave lockdown due to necessity. This was truly a disappointing experience and was a waste of money.The water smell was like drainage somehow! Even tap water smell was ok. The water seemed white-ish as well & because of this, I had to let out more than 12 liters of water everytime I switch on for water.The original one ALWAYS has blue end plastics with washers pre-fit. Mainly the original Philips filter has thick Activated charcoal throught in the inside of the filter.This duplicate filter only has some black wall on the inside & the Activated charcoal is missing. The worst part is the rate is equal to the original filter.Only after buying the original, I could compare properly and write this review.After I have bought & fit the original filter, I must say that it was an absolute relief. No smell what so ever and the water tastes like proper filtered water. It is highly advisable to buy an extra original filter from authorized seller yourself & keep in stock if there is another lockdown in the future.

The quality is not up to the mark in comparison to the original philips spare , as evident from the appearance. I have not fitted yet to judge the performance.

Filter quality is so so.

Not of good quality product do not buy. It is giving dirty water after filtering. I can see particles after filtering.
