A great album with a unique sound!
I first heard this album back when it was released and thought it was phenomenal. I can't remember where I was (it WAS the early seventies!) but I think I was at a friends house and he played a bunch of albums. This one caught my attention like no other. I remember stopping and just listening to the songs. One song just flowed perfectly into the next. it was mesmerizing! I'm lucky if I can remember a bands name, let alone song titles but from The Wizard to Paradise / The Spell I could never forget either! I had to sell off my vinyl collection when I came on hard times and have been reluctant to purchase all the records I used to own. (I worked at a department store and got them on sale, so I had quite a few) But classics like Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Uriah Heep are must haves!

For those who don't get to hear it on the Radio anymore
Been collecting my old record collection from my teens. An absolutely brilliant collection of songs and one of Uriah Heep's best. Brought back allot of memories and surprisingly able to sing along after all of these years. I would recommend to anyone who listened to the trend music at the time but felt that something was still missing. I would easily compare to the music liking of Rainbow, Yes and maybe Jethro Tull. Popular bands but had a specific following. I would also recommend Uriah Heep Live. Done about the same time, the quality is quite good. I am a huge fan of the live music though so for those who don't like it, don't bother. If you can appreciate the live sound, go for it. A good buy. With Demons and Wizards, you are set. Now to get some Rainbow.

Great music, unique style!
I remember this album from college days. A neighbor with an awesome audio system played this on LP often and I really fell in love with "The Wizard" and "Easy Livin'. I downloaded the mp3s and thought they sounded pretty good so I bought the CD.After listening to the entire CD, I've found that like the entire CD. That's unusual for me - most CDs have a few good songs, a lot of mediocre songs, and usually a couple I just plain don't like.Actually, while I still like "The Wizard" and "Easy Living'", "Circle of Hands" is one of my favorites too!The music is a combination of rockers and more introspective pieces and, as others have pointed out, are kind of part of the whole prog-rock scene from the 70's. That being the case, if listening to it for the first time, each track is a surprise - it doesn't follow one style or format like so many bands.I like the organ with vibrato in "Circle of Hands" - you don't hear much (any?) organ in popular music today.I also really like the vocal style of "Poet's Justice" and the kind of spacy style of "Paradise/The Spell".This is a very nice recording from a sound quality point-of-view. It has plenty of depth and space to the music, plenty of detail, and realistic vocals. I really enjoy listening to it because it rocks and yet can also be rather introspective at times as well.

Good Old Rock & Roll
I love it when I get to rediscover a band that I had forgotten. I at one time had many of their albums, yes that's vinyl, but it's been years since then. I purchased the bands Best Of CD and soon found that I needed more. I now remember just how good these guys were, and how far ahead of their time they were. Since buying this I have picked up 3 more of their albums. Give a listen and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I was drooling when I picked up the LP ages ago. Stunning work by all involved! I bought this CD so as to preserve the original vinyl....

Let's have a kegger and put on this disc first...
Growing up in Indian Wells Valley California we had legendary desert parties.. And when there was no bands to lift you up we had tapes with Uriah Heep , among other rock and roll to keep one going into the night.. Easy Livin' is a tune no rocker will ever forget.. And the rest of the album was great as well. Order this and other Uriah Heep cds and start remembering the good times...

Anspieltipps? Alles!

Your delivery time was great. I have ordered a fair number of them since I started and wait patiently on more. My Zappa d.v.d and my Uriah Heep Firefly on c.d. is taking quite a while. Just as long as you don't forget them I don't mind because you are accessible somewhat. But you do an excellent job. Thank you. Brian Edward Kirton
