Good value publication for a must have classic work, very pertinent to the times!

Love this book I read animal farm first,and oh how insightful of governments and the power struggles and control of today,Like he had a crystal ball,ok so it’s not all come about, but it’s heading that way !

Makes me wonder if Starver is using this for government 🤔. Good book!...

A great visional masterpiece/tremendous book / great / great quality& delivery was handled well and I recommend it/ Orwellian's future vision of the world as a whole/ it’s a classic And If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend you do. Some similarities are actually unbelievable considering when it was published originally. It’s a book for your reading bucket list. Winston and company are great characters and it’s a classic. I highly rate it for the value of the account of George Orwell’s future for us humanity and it’s got great relevance. A good book should relate to the reader.. It’s just so good. It’s just worth the read and worth the money. I value books more than the computer age itself. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read it yet as it’s a true classic. The relevance today is unbelievable but it’s a great story about humanity,individuality and the things we take for granted in life. I lost my original so I got another copy and I am going to read it again after 20+ years as it is really that good/ 100% recommend it to anyone who loves a great story but I can’t spoil the party/ please read it and you will truly be enlightened: Thanks George

I had always wanted to read George Orwell s 1984 this is great addition with and excellent forward explaining about his life and how he viewed in things post war Britain it's a good start for new readers looking for some background on the author.The book itself is a good read it's just not one for these trying times during the covid 19 pandemic as it's not a cheerful book to read but it's amazing to see what Orwell was saying in his book in 1949 and here we are in 2021 looking at a world that has changed so much yet what Orwell was writing in his book about a future that was manipulated by leaders and where the press and governments and world leaders lie and fabricate stories a government that's only for themselves and changes history to suit there own agendas and where technology is used to control the population and spy on them through TV's that can never be switched off ( social media today) . It's a must read for Orwell's way of writing and composition is excellent. it touches close to so many issues we see all over the world and within society today.
