Seller very responsive
Original review now updatedThese shears don't cut. The blades don't contact each other (see picture). Also, in this set of (supposedly) left handed shears, was one right handed pair. I would have sent them back, but the problem got set aside and covered up and the send-back is now too late. I still believe that I should warn other shoppers away from Lilys Pet shears. They don't work.UPDATEThe seller, LILYS has been very cooperative in dealing with the issues we had with these shears. We have found that they do cut, but that there is some inconsistency which they are working on. LILYS has reached out and made this right. I strongly recommend doing business with this company

We’re nice good sturdy scissors it was very hard to find ...
We’re nice good sturdy scissors it was very hard to find left handed scissors this was the only place and website I could find that had left it scissors dog grooming. I would be nice if left handed people had more options and cheaper prices like right handed scissors have way more variety and cheaper but I do understand that it takes longer to make and I’m am thankful they at least had left handed scissors I hope one day there will be a little more variety and price goes down some.

Good for left handed groomers
These shears are sharp and work good for left handed groomers. If you groom a lot, they will need to be sharpened in a month or two. Our blade guy could not get these sharpened well enough to continue cutting. But these are good starter shears for lefties. We will be finding a more quality shear in the future. We have bought two sets of these. So maybe we will try to find another service that just focuses on shear sharpening, I believe the sharpening issues are related to these being left handed. These would be great for the home groomer and starting professional left hand groomers.

Thinning scissors not sharp
Bought the left handed set. The main scissors i needed was the thinning shears but turned out it almost couldn’t cut. I used 2 hrs to thin down my golden retreivers ear ( 1 side ) . Both sides took me 4hrs. I understand thinning shear shouldn’t be too sharp but this is quite ridiculous. And as a matter of fact, i’m fm singapore so no point sending it back. Also, this set of scissors is made in china. Disappointing indeed.

Seems like all may need sharpening
Everything is very neat and the set is cute. The straights feel smooth and aren't set extremely tight, however, the thinning shears are set extremely tight and all need oiling. I'm not sure if it is just my set of curves, but they don't close smoothly and almost seem to catch at the end of closing them. Seems like all may need sharpening. But, for the price and the fact that I got four nice new shears, oiling them up and getting them sharpened isn't that big of a deal. I just want to know if the others have issues closing some

1 out of 4 pair don't cut
The straight shears don't want to cut consistently. I tightened them, like i needed to do on the curved shears and still have a gap near the tip of shear that doesn't cut making the handle too tight to use comfortably.Otherwise, I like the carrycase and the rest of the left handed shears in the set. I like the color and good price for my first set.

Waste of money
I just received this grooming set and was so excited to use it. First off it is heavy. Second the scissors squeak and it is so annoying.Sending it right back.

The best lefthanded grooming shears so far!
Highly satisfied! I have been using Oster shears since I started grooming but didn't feel comfy with not only having 1 pair of each needed but also I wasn't getting the desired Time efficiency or effect I was looking for. My coworker found & bought this set being a rare lefty like me so I tried them and fell in love with them and now I'm the proud owner of a set and they are as equally phenomenal! One warning though, they are extremely extremely sharp. Not made for greenhorns new to shears.
