HDS-5 gen2 が壊れてしまい、中古でHDS-7 touchを導入したので、フットコントロール用の振動子も、HDS touchに互換性があるとのことで、こちらを購入してみました。並行輸入品なので日本の販売店の価格より3割位安く買えて良いですが、米国サイトのドル表記の価格を見れば、日本の販売店の値付けが高過ぎます。手にするまでは注文から2.5週間位掛かりましたが、急ぐほどの機能でもないです。実際に使ってみて、普通の2D魚探表示より、湖底（地形）が、それっぽく鮮明に映るだけで、2D画面のように魚影を確認してシューティングできるような、釣果を左右するような直接的効果は、ダウンスキャン画像には無いと理解しました。トランサム用にストラクチャースキャンHD振動子も並行輸入品を購入しようと考えていましたが保留しました。

Replacement transducer works great. I have been building a float tube with motor, battery, sonar, (etc. etc. etc.--even a U.S. Flag!) this summer. Been a super fun project and I've been on a bunch of the local lakes in the NE Twin Cities, MN. Best so far is a 34 inch pike. The thing was basically flopping around in my lap with razor sharp teeth--SO FUN!!! Unfortunately, my maiden voyage I was stupid and didn't attach the transducer with a safety rope--so now it is on the bottom of Lake Wabasso in Shoreview, MN. Let me know if you find it :)I've been improving everything as the summer progresses and now EVERYTHING has a secondary attachment. Fool me once . . .
