This tripod feels solid and works better than the one from DJI
Why I bought itI needed a tripod to use with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 so I could record jiu jitsu sessions. I wanted something lightweight but strong enough to hold steady during movement. The built in grip and adjustable angles seemed like a good fit for what I needed. What surprised me right awayIt feels sturdy right out of the box. The grip is solid and does not slip. The material feels better than I expected at this price. Honestly it feels more reliable than the branded one that came with my Osmo. The adjustments are smooth and the ball head holds its position without drifting. What I did not loveNothing so far. It sets up quickly and holds steady. No issues with balance or slipping. It just works the way you hope it will.Would I recommend thisYes I would. If you are recording with a compact camera or something like the DJI Osmo, this is a great little tripod to have. It is light, easy to carry, and surprisingly strong for the size. Whether you are filming on the go or setting it up on a desk or mat, it gets the job done.

Best solution for holding up my DSLR at my desk! 📷🩷
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for holding up my camera at my desk. I use my camera for filming videos as well as zoom calls for school. Having it leveled this way was the best choice for me as its easy to access for troubleshooting or anything that could go wrong when experiencing any technical difficulties. I feel it is also safer and more compact than to have a big dslr sitting over my monitor screen. If you're using this for travels it is also really amazing since the tripod extends out and you can have your smaller cameras rest on it for far distances. The dslr works when having it sit on the first level since it is much heavier in weight. If you try to raise it up to a higher level, you can see it works but it can slowly slide down from just a shake because of the weight 😅I knew that when I came across this little tripod that it would be the perfect solution to have it on my desk. Worth the money and everything about it is essential!

Good for me, and probably you too.
UPDATE: Ive had this for a few weeks now and i really like it.ORIGINAL:I got this to hold a webcam on my desk because it kept getting bumped around. It goes low enough to stay out of my line of sight and can easily extend higher to eye level if i need to temporarily.Angle adjustment is good and easy. Its just the right weight to stabilize the web cam on my desk. It is marketed as being also a selfie stick. I wont ever use it like that but i think its heavier than i would want a selfie stick to be.The legs dont seem very sturdy, but sturdy enough for stationary use with a light weight webcam. I will definitely be careful with the legs.

Probably better for lighter cameras but still works well.
This mini tripod serves its purpose admirably, particularly for compact cameras like GoPros or small action cameras. Despite its plastic construction, it maintains a commendable level of stability, with minimal wobbling that doesn't impede its functionality. I've found it to be a reliable companion for my Sony ZV-E10, though it may not be the most robust option for heavier cameras. The inclusion of a GoPro mount in the box adds to its versatility, further expanding its utility. The cold shoe mount stands out as a reliable feature, offering sturdy support. Considering its affordable price point, the tripod feels surprisingly durable, contributing to its overall appeal. While it may not claim the title of the ultimate tripod, it certainly fulfills its role admirably. With its dependable performance and thoughtful features, I'd confidently rate it a solid 7.5 out of 10.

Just what I needed.
Have been using this for a while for a more on-the-move mount, and all I can say is it's really good for it. It has a slight wiggle on the head as it's not secured very well and has a side-to-side motion where the tripod meets the top part. Just something to consider: not bad performing but just something that bugs overall, very well made and very compact.

Light and Versatile!
This is a remarkable little tripod. I wanted something light, portable and straightforward for a tabletop type tripod setup just to use with my iPhone. Ulanzi delivered! While being incredibly light, I feel that this is a very durable tripod. Super simple to use. I also got the Ulanzi phone holder, and soon, I will be adding the quick connect claw connector so I can easily move my iPhone back and forth between this little tripod and the TT31 I have (also by Ulanzi).I have been very pleased with Ulanzi's photo/video gear and their quick connectors make it super easy and frankly imperative, to continue living within the Ulanzi ecosystem. If you're looking for a very small, sleek and portable tripod, with extension for vlogging, etc., I know you won't be disappointed by the MT-16. Beyond that, I do think the price I paid for this is bordering on a bargain, but I digress... I have enjoyed using this tripod, and I expect I will for years to come.

Good for your GoPro, but a bit too flimsy for your portable monitor
Got the MT-16 stand back in late May 2024 to work as a stand for my 16" ASUS MB16ACV portable monitor. The MB16ACV has a screw hole, and the stand seemed like it would be the right height to pair with my raised laptop setup. And it works perfectly... at first. Now nearly two months in, whenever I mount my portable monitor onto the MT-16 tripod stand, the stand instantly starts leaning towards the left. It's bad enough that if I want my portable monitor to not fall over, I need to lean it against my raised laptop to keep things steady. I'll keep this for my kid to use as a GoPro mount, but it'll be back to the drawing board for me in terms of elevating my portable monitor.tl;dr: Great GoPro solution, but not strong enough to hold a portable monitor up w/o tipping over
