These are great test strips. They are easy to read. I tested the water straight out of the well. The test strip showed how hard the water is and showed the recommended water softner setting. I then tested the water at the sink and it was perfect. I highly recommend purchasing these.

This product worked and gave me excellent results checking household water, water softener, and pool water. The multi test strips I used from four different companies never worked on the pool or household water with regards to water hardness. Which really irritated me to say the least. If you're looking for a test medium for water hardness, then look no further.

At least for my results, it was REALLY hard to determine which color mine was since the differences between each level is barely distinguishable and no I’m not color blind. Since I was only testing to see if my new dishwasher needed salt added or not for hard water it wasn’t the end of the world, I just guessed.
