As a rule, all the bed linens in my house are white 100% cotton in the highest thread count I can find. While this white cotton duvet appears to be well-constructed, with secure stitching, buttons and corner ties, I question whether it’s actually 500tc by the way it looks and feels. Even after machine washing/drying twice (with extra fabric softener) before putting it on the trundle bed for the first time, it’s still stiff and rough…to the point my cheerful little grandson complained about it. Maybe it’ll soften up over time. It also wrinkles terribly, even when washed alone and pulled hot out of the dryer.The Twin duvet cover arrived with two pillow shams, which I really appreciate. But unlike the generously sized duvet cover, the shams are undersized and too small for a standard pillow. I finally found a pair of very OLD, very flat, goose down pillows in a closet that I was able to squeeze inside the shams.Would I recommend and/or buy this product again? Maybe. It’s affordable and arrived in one day, which is what I needed this time. It would probably make a cool tie dye project for teens. I don’t use top sheets with duvet covers, but if you do, this is a good, solid buy.

Item came in as promised in a good packaging. Product is as described. Fabric is soft and comfortable, but it is not thick enough to cover the color of insert. My navy comforter shows through a little bit (producing different white shades with the comforter cover and the pillow sham), and the prints on the pillow show through as you may see in my photo. The shams fit my pillows perfectly. Material and stitching is good for the price. I'd prefer the zipper closure on the cover than the buttons. I like that they have stitched ties at corners to securely attach the comforter and cover. The ties will be perfect if they have small snap buttons to save me the trouble of tying knots. Overall, this is a good cotton bedding set for $30. I also own their other bedding set with floral pattern and liked it. That's why I ordered this solid white color to try out and give my honest review in exchange for the gift from seller.

This is a great duvet. I have bought 2 already in white. Heavy soft fabric. Fits perfectly on my twin inserts. I would certainly buy it again.
