Best bang for the buck!
So, I've bought 120 plates, half in 90mm and half in 100mm. There are imperfections and downright flaws with these plates, but at at fraction of the price of other plates, I can deal with it. I would say one in ten plates has a minor issues, like it is warped, and the lid doesn't sit flush, or there was a little piece of something stuck in the glass. I find it better to use plastic wrap to seal them because the gap would be difficult to cover with parafilm. Out of the 120, maybe five or so had something seriously wrong. Chipped, cracked, super deformed or super thin glass. I know how to handle a plate, and I put my thumb through one of them near the edge and I wasn't even putting a whole lot of pressure on it. If you want every plate to be perfect, don't buy these. If you can deal with some wonk, and want a good deal, go for it.

All different shapes and sizes, fragile
These look like they were cast in someone's garage by a 12 year old. They are all different heights and maybe 3 out of 10 pairs are square/level. It's not possible to stack multiple dishes because they are so uneven and deformed. All of them arrived undamaged, but after a single session in an autoclave, 2 pieces cracked - unfortunately not the malformed ones.I would recommend against buying these. After factoring in damaged and malformed pieces, the price per dish approaches soda lime dishes from more reputable and consistent vendors like Sigma.

Almost perfect
Not a fan of using disposable plastic so i thought id give glass a try. This listing was the best value that iv seen on here. when they arrived, they were very well wrapped up so kudos to that. petris themselves great for the most part but one did have a crack, and another a small deformity so a bit of a bummer but ill see how things go. will post pictures as soon as i can get a good one. the way they fit on one another is a bit loose so i highly recommend parafilm for these, (i use them for mycology)

One top and one bottom were cracked
Wasn’t for lack of trying, box was in two bubble wraps and in a second box. The dish wrapping is just thin paper on one side though. Otherwise fine.

Well packaged
These arrived in good condition. They were packaged very well. I am so happy with the purchase that I am ordering 30 more dishes. Thank you for a good experience with these fragile items.

Half of the dishes came broken😠
Five broken dishes 😠 5/10 broken! Whatever wasn't broken had deep scratches and was dirty and poorly made glass with chips, bubbles and divots. Poorly made and poorly packaged and shipped. I was actually surprised with the poor quality because I ordered a nice media bottle from this company and it was very well made.

Very very useful for an oil painter...
I use these for my oil paint; I can put colors I am working with, mix, or whatever and then cover them to keep them for long periods of time. I do add poppy, walnut, or safflower oil to my paints which help from drying out. But, one very important trick, add a couple of drops of clover oil to the inside of the lid and place over the bottom. This keeps oil paints from drying out really well. Don't mix clover oil into the paint.
