When its plugged in it should be light all the time even without tap or sound .My kids are using it as a night light.

Hi You can set this up by following these steps: 1. Press and hold “AL 1.2” button for 3 seconds, the “hour” digits will flash. Press ▲ or ▼ to set “hour”. Please pay attention that if the clock is in 12-hour time format, you should set the alarm time correctly (i.e., if you need to set an alarm for 18:00, the alarm time should set as 6:00PM rather than 6:00AM). 2. Press “AL 1.2” button again, the “minute” digits will flash. Press ▲ or ▼ to set “minute”. 3. Press “AL 1.2” button again, it will ring the bell and the number digits of ringtone will flash.
