1 3/4 These are coasters The legS sit In the center of the coaster and Is not attached. If you want "cups" buy 5/8" CUPS and slip them over the leg

They will not raise the furniture at all.

1 3/4" will fit fine. The outside of the square pads measures 2 3/8", there is a 1/4" lip around the edge, and the inside dimensions are 1 7/8" x 1 7/8".
