Eagle Tech USA Bluetooth Music Receiver Phone Adapter for Home Audio, Car Stereo and Headphones (ET-ARHS50B-BK)

Works well, syncs to my iPad & it rocks. Good sound, really nice to have the Fast Forward & Replay buttons. Best on long trips - went from Los Angeles to New Orleans / St Louis, etc & back without listening to the same song on a 3 week trip. Only complaint is that you have to sync up the iPad & the Eagle Tech Bluetooth Music Receiver each time the vehicle is restarted - that takes from 3-5 minutes most of the time. I think that's because the chipset isn't Bluetooth 4.0 (my Bose Soundlink Mini does sync to the same iPad each time it's turned on). I mounted the Eagle Tech Bluetooth Music Receiver w/ velcro patches to the console in my vehicle just below the radio/head unit, a few other velcro straps to keep the USB Power adapter & the Stereo patch cord hidden/out of the way helped out a lot.

I've been using it for a couple weeks and like it. It requires an aux-in port and a USB charging station. My car has both right next to each other so I just leave it plugged in all the time. I have noticed a lot of feed back if I charge it with my cigarette lighter port, but if I charge it with my USB port on my stereo it doesn't make any static or noise.My only complaint is that you have to turn it on every time you get in the car. I would have liked it much better if it turned itself on when I started the car and it received an electrical current. I sort of hoped for a truly automatic connection, which this isn't. But having a wireless connection from my phone to my stereo is nice.

The item is great and very useful for a permanently tethered device. it is small and quite good.Although there are lots of bluetooth receiver out there specially with bluetooth speakers massively becoming available, this is still a cool gadget.However, my concern is, it does not remember the last device it got connected to, which is quite annoying since you have to get near the device again and press the button so you can get connected. if you are playing something and you went out of the rangeyou have to come to the device again and push the button of the bluetooth receiver to retry connecting. Nowadays even bluettoth speakers automatically reconnects to the last device when it gets to the range. Perhaps the manufacturer can add this function to avoid tedious task of reconnecting considering this is suppose to be a wireless thingy.

This works great but with all audio blue tooth devices the strength of the signal is a function of the volume. Turn the volume on the sending device ALL THE WAY UP. Use the Eagle Tech Arion receiver to turn the music to the appropriate level (it has it's own volume control.) This will ensure the signal between your cell phone or ipad is at it's strongest. I can go 30 feet and around corners without any loss of signal or music quality. If you lower the audio level on your phone or tablet, the signal going to the receiver is greatly reduced. So - 5 stars with one disclaimer...

I reall like it! The battery life is great and you can use it for just about anything. I wear it on my belt when I travel on a plane, for my in ear monitors. When I'm home, I use it for my Master Bedroom entertainment system. Belkin makes a good one but it always has to be pluged in.

Best bluetooth receiver I have tried. I had one from Wal-mart (iLive IAB13B) that broke in a couple of days the replacement broke as well. I then tried another one from best buy (Aluratek - iStream Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver Model: AIS01F) that was cheap and lost the signal 4 feet from receiver.

DON'T care for placement of buttons easy to bump, should have a lock? Otherwise this thing has been awesome. Battery lasts for at least 12hrs!! I would definitely get another.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It was very easy to install and he uses it everyday.
