The Octonauts Image Photo Cake Topper Sheet Birthday Party - 1/4 Sheet - 76819

This was a great purchase! I usually spend a bunch if time decorating cakes for my kids, but since we've had three mini parties for my son instead of one big family party do to the pandemic I wasn't feeling up to making elaborate cakes three times. Enter this simple solution!! It was a bargain and was soooo easy! I'm not sure I'm ever going back!The image was clear, but I felt like it was a little off color-wise. I'm not sure if this is just because it's an underwater image, but I seemed to have a blue cast to the whole cake more so that the photo. Kinda like when a printer starts to run out of yellow or red ink and things look a little off. But still very clear image and not enough to not use it.Came with very detailed directions and trouble shooting tips if it doesn't peel off the backing easily, but mine came right off with no problems. This was for an August party so humidity could have been an issue, but it was no problem.I put it on a cake with whipped cream frosting about 24 hours before the party. There was a slight sugar graininess to it once it melted into the frosting. In the future I will use buttercream frosting so this texture difference less noticeable.Customer service of this company was AWESOME! There was a customize option for this topper and they worked to make a design that was perfect. Emailed me promptly and shipped it out right away.Excuse me while I attempt to convince all of my children that they want cakes with these toppers from now on! Haha!
