Definitely NOT FOR BEGINNERS! But WHY?
I bought these Rough watercolor papers in my beginner stage and as soon as I started to painting on it, it frustrated me to make even a basic painting as the texture is so rough, the beginner wont be able to control their brush strokes and water direction. But yes there are pros too. Watch my Art essentials Rough watercolor paper review on my youtube channel Draw With Sid.

Good for newbies
It has too much texture. Too big rough granules. After painting also they are visible that Spoils some of the paintings' look. Water absorbency and thickness are good. Correction cannot be done easily.

Good in its price range
I compared a lot of papers before buying this one .I wanted a paper that absorbs water colour and is rough basically CP (300gsm) and believe this is the best paper in its price range and quantity .The stark difference made me a bit hesitant but I still ordered Because I am a beginner and A5 is the perfect size and I am not regretting at all.Colour absorption 4/5Colour mixing 4/5

Worst paper ever.
Worst paper ever.i better prefer to paint on kids drawings book rather then this paper. its texture is soo rough.it literally split and ripped after using water on it .colors don't stay on paper and dont blend.you can not paint even slight details on the paper .I don't recommend this paper too costly and useless.

Excellent paper quality. ππΌ
The paper quality is excellent. Thick papers, no stains on the backside. Great for watercolors. The papers doesn't bend or fold much after heavy water coloring. You can easily use both side of the paper to paint.
