Muck Boot Men's Arctic Pro Hunting Boot

arctic pro muck boots
So far these boots have been great. I bought them as a good winter icefishing boot for slushy days and cold weather. I have only worn them for a couple weeks now but have been out in single digits and teens twice. Feet stay nice and warm with a thin pair of socks with a pair of wools on with them. The boots pull on and off easily and the soft uppers fit snug. I haven't been on slick conditions yet so I can't comment on traction. Hopefully they wear well, as for the price I'd expect to keep them a long time. Also, I wish Muck and other companies would make larger sized boots. I typically wear a 15/16 sized boot and got these with the hopes they would fit well. They could be a touch larger for my foot, but I would say they are right on for a 15. People with large feet need good quality footwear too!Joe from Maine

Cold feet be gone!
Being between a 14 - 15, depending upon manufacturer, I went with the 15D. Good choice. With thick, cold weather socks, they fit perfect for their intended use. If I was going to be walking for miles in them, I may put in a insole to take up some of the width, but the length is great. Incredibly warm! Warmest boots I've ever owned, and I'm prone to cold feet. Love them in nasty, wet, cold weather. Can even tolerate wearing them sans socks for an impromptu shuffle out to the barn. Would buy another pair.

This is the second pair we have purchased. They are as described. Very warm and comfortable. Very well made. Great boots for the farm.

Quality control?
My son in-law went ice fishing with me and strongly recommended these Arctic Pro boots I read a lot of mixed reviews and purchased on his recommendation and good reviews. When I took the boots out of the box at the lake the upper part of 1 boot had 2 cuts in the skin of the neoprene. I used boots anyway and my feet froze on Sat with a low temp of 0 outside I was inside a hut with a heater. Saturday night I purchased a pair of Muck Arctic Ice from a local retailer with same insulation rating as the Arctic Pro, awesome boots the sole is not as slick as the pro version on the ice my feet stayed warm on Sunday same conditions (same alpaca wool socks both days) except it was -18 degrees Sunday morning! Then yesterday to confirm before I returned the pro boots I wore them working around the yard for a couple of hours at about 20 degrees and moving around my feet got cold like an un-insulated boot. I changed the boots to the Muck Arctic Ice boots and my feet were almost too warm continuing into the night temps dropped to -5 at 8 o'clock when I gave up for the day my feet were still warm! I think there must be a quality control issue based on the reviews and my experience with 2 different pairs of boots with the same insulation rating by the same manufacturer. The difference between the Arctic Pro would give it 1 star and the Arctic Ice a 5 star but whats to say your going to get a pair like my Pro's in the Ice version. I really like my Ice boots but the Pros suck! We have snow and ice here in NW Colorado till June so I have added to my Ice boots some screw in tire studs being size 15 the slip on don't work very well broke a number of pairs just stretching them too far! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3GV99N/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1PQ66J882YM3A&psc=1
