I bought these to repair my fishing poles and it actually worked great! I used to throw broken poles out as a kid but now that I'm a little smarter I've decided to repair them and get more years out of them. Also, I've found poles in the trask that I can now repair. Win win all the way. Good to have these on deck

I do a lot of salt water fishing, which is rough on rods. I had two Abu Garcia Vendetta rods lose eyes on me, so I decided to get this pack in order to do the repair myself.Pros:- You get a ton of eyes in a range of sizes. I broke the first eye and the top on my Vendettas and I was able to get both tips from this set.- The tips are ceramic/stainless steel. I repaired the rods almost a year ago, and the tips are still holding up. Granted, I wash my equipment very well with fresh water when I get home. None the less, these tips have withstood the weathering quite well.- It comes with/in an organizer (box). It's convenient having the box so that I can store the eyes without worrying about losing them or some getting broken.Cons:- The tips are small. Fortunately, this set worked for fixing my Vendettas, however, I couldn't use it on my deep sea rods (it didn't fit my Allstar 6ft deep sea rod as it was way too small.)Overall, if you're looking for a good assortment of tips for fixing light tackle, then this product is a safe bet. I will note, this set is the eyes/tips only. If you're planning on doing the repair yourself, you will need to purchase the epoxy and nylon thread. (Some people use braided line to repair their rods, while that's ok, the nylon thread lasts and looks much better.) And if it's your first time doing a repair, do yourself a favor and watch a few youtube videos first. Technique is everything.

The foot on these guides is pretty thick. I had to file it down so there wasn't a step between the rod blank and the guide foot. The ceramic is a little chunky as well, but for the quantity and price, it's a good value.

Great match to my rod but only thing wrong was that it was not in the appropriate spots after shipping. Which was not a big deal because it was easy to separate and I moved it to a different storage container. I would buy these again but won’t have to for awhile.

Kit arrived a ok. Several different sizes and types. My only complaint. RUST eyes rust FAST as a matter of fact. I live in Florida on the coast. They eyes rusted within 1 month of pitting on my rod. I rinse my rod with fresh water after every use.

Purchased these to repair my fishing rod as the second fishing guide came out of its holder whilst reeling in a fish,these are easy to fit on fitting to replace the damaged one on the rod, initially spot glued ,then wrapped ,then finally .epoxy covered the rod looks brand new.

WASTE of money, they all broke trying to put them on and they don't sit on any rod right

Eyes look good quality and comes in a nice plastic box. The only problem is one eye has come out the box without the centre

Great delivery, super fast. Less than 24hrs! But as you can see from the photo, one of the eyes is faulty and missing it’s SiC. All the others are fine but the reason i bought this pack was to replace guides without SiC....
