In an attempt to be more active and get in shape, I thought a jump rope would be the perfect work-out accessory. This Fit Whip is lightweight and the handles are easy to hold. They are made out of an aluminum material with a foam-like grip with Fit Whip inscribed on it. The rope itself is a thin plastic-encased cord. At the ends by the handles is a fastener with a screw to allow you to adjust the length of the rope. It stops the handles from sliding all the way to the tips of the cord. However, this means that there will be parts of the cord left over extending beyond where you hold the handle. It's a little awkward holding the excess cord in my hand along with the handles. Otherwise, the excess cord will flop about. I suppose if you never plan on adjusting it again, you could cut it off. A little drawstring bag for storage was a nice plus.I received this product at a discount for my honest review.

It does exactly what its supposed to, act as a thinner more streamlined version of the classic jumping rope. The adjustable screws to shorten the rope is a pretty neat feature. My only concern with this particular jump rope is the fact that the rope is metal wire. Yes, it is coated in plastic, but if you nick yourself with this its not going to be a gentle as a rope, which for me I dont mind, I'm a grown man I can take a little pain, however I dont know if I'd want a kid playing with this as it could be quite painful for them. However I dont have kids so it's a great thing for me to have. The compact size is pretty nice to have as it can fit in my work bag or a small pouch in my napsack. I received the fit whip at a discount price in exchange for an honest review, which is exactly what I've given. My only complaint really is that I ordered a blue set, and received a black one. Its not the end of the world, as it doesnt effect anything to do with the actual product, I just found it odd that I received that color when it wasnt even an option when ordering. To summarize, it's a great compact alternative for the traditional jump rope.

I am so happy to find such a great product. I do not like going to your standard gym. Exercising with the Fit Whip has been a ton a fun and it is very easy to use.
