Love, love love!
I absolutely love my Pixel Trio monitor. It is still the only monitor on the market that I can use with only a USB-A port on my laptop. This is an older model and the way the screen slides out is a bit clunky. I believe it has been redesigned in the newer version but then I'd be required to use two cables - HDMI and USB-A. The picture is good, it does what it's supposed to. I recommend it.

Almost two years and still in love
There are not enough words for how much I love my trio screen. You know those people who wont shut up about multiple monitors for their desktops?? Yah that's me now. This screen comes in clutch for research and bookkeeping and pretty much everything. Mine goes everywhere my laptop goes: the office, coffee shops, traveling, etc etc. It's a total flex out in public btw; someone always asks about it. Some reviews mention weight and idk what theyre talking about. The trio is probably half the weight or less than the laptop screen; it doesnt add much noticeable weight if youre already schlepping a laptop. As for it not lasting--folks, how you been treating your electronics? Been dragging mine all over the city and world for almost *two years* and it hasnt glitched once. I don't even have a case for it! I'm just carefulish when I put it with my laptop in my bag. The trio looks and acts new, not a scratch on it.As for magnets and whether it stays on: for sitting at a desk the magnets work beautifully, because the bottom edge needs to be supported by resting on the table. Using the laptop on your lap on the couch will be okay if you're not moving around too much and/or you don't whack it. But if you try to pick up the open laptop with trios extended, to say run to another room to print or because you forgot your cord or whatever, yah, the laws of physics will assert themselves and it will come off. Helloooo these are magnets not steel welds. Have some common sense (i.e., don't carry with trios extended, or if you do, HOLD ON) and you'll be fineComputer info: Im using my trio on a bargain basement, overgrown calculator known as the Dell Inspiron 3583. The laptop is 15" and I got the 12.5" trio to save money and because I didnt want a big hunkin thing attached to the laptop. In retrospect I probably shouldve gone for the larger trio screen so image size matches my laptop. I didnt think I'd care about the mismatch but it's kinda annoying depending on what I'm doing. This does not diminish my love, or limit my use, in any way though.Bottom line: Love this screen. My only regret is not coughing up for 2 trios when I got the first one---that's the only way to do it, at least for me, moneywise. If my trio ever dies I will throw it a Celebration of Life party, then buy two to replace it

Great quality, great portability, slightly disappointed with the setup when using two of these
The monitors are excellent quality, exactly what I was looking for to take on the road with me and work remotely. I love them and I'm glad I made the purchase. Since my partner also works remotely, we bought two of these so that we could have the flexibility of each of us using one, OR one of us using both. He also loves that he can use the display modes to mirror his screen to a customer sitting opposite him. All of this functionality works great. However, when using TWO of these to connect to your laptop and have a three-monitor setup, there are some caveats that weren't very clear (or I underestimated) upon purchase. They do work, and the quality and function is pretty good, but it is very bulky. As it does clearly state in the instructions, the mounting setup requires that it rests on a flat surface. It is NOT capable of supporting two monitors without tipping over your laptop, unless they are resting on something for support. This makes it difficult to work on any soft or angled surface (such as your lap, or on your hotel bed, or even on an angled laptop tray). Each monitor has to be connected separately, so there are cables running around every side of your computer. Also, only one powered USB-C can be connected at a time. After hours of trying to find some sort of dock with two, video capable, powered USB-C connections, I learned this is a limitation of the technology, but I found it rather irritating that they seem to go out of their way to omit this from the instructions. In any case this meant that the second monitor was not plug and play as I'd hoped; I had to call corporate IT and have the drivers installed to run the second monitor from a regular USB connection.Overall, I would absolutely buy these again. The quality was so impressive for the size that I almost feel bad giving them 4 stars instead of 5. However, the manufacturer differentiates these from others by advertising the ability to connect two of them at once, so IMO they need to work on making that setup a bit cleaner - or at a minimum, be more transparent about how it will work in practice.

Magnets come off from weight of monitor
UPDATE JUNE 2022 - customer service is AMAZING! After this review, the recommended the thinner lighter version to solve the magnet issue and sent it to me. I agree it is much better, but also the customer service was very responsive and helpful. A nice change these days! One magnet came off the monitor side, and then one that won’t stick to the laptop side(replaced the sticky piece and still came off). Both make this monitor unusable because it just falls off. It seems like the monitor (when extended as in use) is too heavy for the magnets to hold. I am looking for some glue to hold the large magnet in place on the monitor and will have to come up with something different for the laptop magnet, as I can’t put glue on it… When the screen stays where it should, it works perfectly, but overall I think it would be much better to spend more money on a higher quality item. I’ve had for less than a month.
