Tech Hub Magic in a Small Package!
The media could not be loaded. Just got my hands on the Accell Air USB C 4K InstantView Hub, and it's a tech marvel! It's sleek, portable, and super functional. Connecting my laptop to dual displays has never been easier and the 4K support makes everything look crisp and vibrant. The USB ports are a lifesaver for connecting all my gadgets at once. Plus, it charges my devices fast with its 87W power delivery. Love how it's compatible with a range of devices too. This hub is definitely a must-have for anyone looking to expand their workstation with minimal fuss. Totally worth it! AND who said M1s cant connect to dual monitors!

Doesn’t work and customer service is nonexistent
First of all, the dock isn’t necessarily driverless, so false advertising there. Not a big deal though. It’s easy enough to set up.My issue is that upon unboxing, the dock was unable to function with my external monitor, despite switching hdmi cables multiple times.I emailed the company about this as that was the only form of communication on their website. Needless to say they did not respond at all. Am now out a hundred bucks on a dock that doesn’t even do what its advertised to do. Oh - not only does the HDMI not work, the usbs are hit or miss and sometimes cause my camera to flicker. This is worse than my $30 dock.

Finally a USB-C adapter for MacBook Pro M1 dual external Momitors
This is the 3rd adapter/dock that I’ve bought from Amazon after buying two, one docking station and one adapter. Very frustrating buying process and Reviews and Q&A are really confusing and misleading at times. The key to have dual “external” displays for MacBook Pro M1 is in software that enables the 2nd HDMI or DisplayPort . It’s the DisplayLink software or a customized version (IntaView) in this case. You really don’t need this driver/software for PCs or other non-M1 MacBook Pro 2020 or later,Once I plugged on the adapter, the “InstaView” icon shows up on the desktopClick and install and it will ask you to use Screen Recoding enabled in “Security and Privacy” under settings. After you enter you password and finish the install, the third monitor (or 2nd external) shows up in your display preferences.I have attached images and for now it works great. The adapter is warm, which is normal. I have not see. Any performance depredation but I am not using it for gaming or heavy use of multimedia software. The price is reasonable and the adapter/dock itself is very well made and matches the silver MacBook Pro with two HDMI, one USB-C, and three USB 3.0 ports. What I also like and useful is the fact that this dock only uses one of the TB/USB-C ports on the MacBook Pro.After spending so much time and frustration, I am happy with this solution and hope that others can save time from this review.

Randomly drops connection to monitors, often when in a Zoom call
I've been using this device to connect my Macbook air to two additional external monitors. Most of the time it works well, but about once or twice in a work day, it will suddenly lose connection to the two monitors for about 30-60 seconds and then re-connect. It seems to happen most when I'm in a Zoom call, but it does not exclusively happen when I'm in a videoconference. Frustrating!

Works great with M1 MBA
Been using with the M1 MBA for about a month with two 27" 1080p monitors and haven't had any connectivity issues. Heats up a bit but nothing more than most dongles (I leave it connected all day). Would have liked the wire to be a bit longer as it's awkward to use and keeping it bent all day might affect longevity, too early to tell though.Initial setup wasn't as straightforward as advertised as the driver it comes with doesn't work so I had to dig around on google and SiliconMotion's website to find the correct driver for InstantView. Not a big deal but may not be convenient for everyone.Minor nitpicks aside, would definitely recommend, best option for the price.

One of the coolest looking and most functional docks I've tried
This really changed the game for me in terms of de-cluttering my desk. I've got very limited space now working from home, but with the dock I've consolidated all my peripherals and can even support multiple displays. It's crazy compact, but lets me plug in all my devices and charges my laptop super fast, too. All in all, I'm really happy with it and it looks pretty awesome to boot.

Requires driver installation
I can't comment on how good this item is. I bought it because I needed 2 HDMI ports to add another monitor to my laptop. It says you can plug and play, but in order to extend your monitors instead of duplicate them, you have to download a driver. This is probably not a big deal for most but I'm using this for a work computer and I don't have the administrative authority to download software. I returned it to Amazon which was very easy to do.

Heats up quickly, and crashes frequently
When I finally got my second display I tried to use both of the display ports and 2 of the "10GbPs" usb ports at the same time and after 30 min it all was hot and quit displaying out the HDMI ports. Unfortunately this happened after my return window ended. The result: A waste of money for a paper weight. I paid $159.99 for this in April. Apparently it's 89.99 now price slashed from "119.99"even at 90 dollars this is a huge waste of money.I'm not sure what qualifies something as a "driver" but you still have to install "macOS InstantView" to use the display ports at all, which asks for access to screen record.
