Digi-Pas2-Axis Smart Cube Level, DWL-90PRO, WIRELESSLY displays Leveling Status on Smartphone via Bluetooth, Black, Small, Model: DWL90Pro

Purchased to level my front speakers while on spikes.Easy to use with the app and does what's required, I haven't checked how accurate it is on x and y but looks as near as.Speakers are at least looking level. Now sits in my tool box in it's handy storage pouch until I need it again.Only issue was with my phones display timeout timer expiring when using the app, not really an issue with the product, tip is to extend time out before using app.

Got this to level up my caravan, the brilliant thing is its bluetooth connectivity I just place it on a level service and wander about outside when its level you get a loud chime. The problem is its range it sometimes looses the signal and I'm winding the caravan up and find the caravans pointing up in the air!! I had to recalibrate it once.

Obviously there a mixed reviews on this page, there are quite a few experiencing the same problems i have had.First the bad points:1. Does not come with batteries, no biggie just petty and annoying.2. The code supplied does not work.3. Down loaded free versions of the software from the app store, non actually referenced the Smart Cube and did not work anyway.4. My iPhone never showed a possible connection in the blue tooth menu.5. Tried to get help via the website, it simply kicked me out after i pressed send or whatever box to complete.6. Eventually got a box pop up on the iPhone relating to the paid version, as iu was getting nowhere i tried it at £4.99 no biggie again, just more annoying.The Good Points1. The paid version worked first time and now everything works as it should.Bought this for levelling several pool tables, frivolous i know but hey what can i say , boys and there toys.I would find it hard to believe that Digi-Pas are not fully aware of the problems, they must be assuming they can read.Overall a useful gadget once you get it working but to be blunt at the price it is i would expect it to work out of the box.Update: Used it out outside for the first time 21/09/21, as much use as a chocolate tea pot. The digits simply do not show without completely shading the digits and trying to photograph them is impossible as the must have a high refresh rate, you may get a 0° but not much else. Fortunately linked it to the iPhone and took a screen shot of the single axis.Does a good job internally though, levelled a few pool tables with it.Additional Update:Not used it for a while, but the pool table needed levelling again and surprise, surprise the dam thing wants me to purchase yet another code. Are these people taking the Micky. One of the many updates to the program may have over written the original app code. will write it down this time.Additional Additional Update:Well had a frustrating time with an unusual outcome. The paid for again update did not work, didn't do anything at all, contacted the manufacturer but no reply. So deleted the app and tried to reload only to find no app on the app store. OK, tried an app at random from Digi-pas, unsurprisingly did not connect to the device but did come up with click here to install correct app. Did that and got similar message but with an option to reset the password. Did that and hey presto the iPhone app now works again communicating with the cube. Looking at the comments/review above still have the same battery in my cube since June 2021.

Why on earth do I have to use a code to gain access to the app? It's not like the app is any use without having bought the product?I even tried to buy access - but it always declines the transaction. I'm guessing because it's an 'illegal' payment outside the play store.I'm really dissappointed. I had hoped to use it today - but I've ended up with just another expensive paper-weight.Edit:I asked DigiPas for a code - but they've asked for more photos of the Item, box, packaging, contents serial. Most of those are in the trash. I can't believe that the software is so amazing that it needs this level of protection.For an item costing £30, I'm really not convinced it's worth the hassle. I'm in two minds whether to send it back to Amazon or just put it in the trash.

Got device today and went about paring it to my phone only to be told i have to register. Just why? This is not highlighted in the description which is very misleading. I really don't want to send my email address to every company i buy some gadget from. Just let up use the app for free. We already paid for the device. Bad enough to have this pay to win rubbish in games app. Now we have pay to use with tools.

Bought this to help with levelling caravan - I have to say it works great. I place the unit in the doorway and then take my phone and go around the caravan lowering the steadies and watching the phone until it is level.It saves so much time from the usual routine of making a level adjustment then going back around to the doorway to check a normal bubble spirit level, then back and forth until it's level.Very responsive with very little lag and provides both X and Y axis information on the app bubble. I found the Smart 2D Bubble display the best for this application.I must also say I have not had the same Bluetooth issues that others have experienced with the signal dropping, mine has been great, never missed a beat. Don't hesitate to buy.

1. Calibration procedure is hit-and-miss. I had to do it several times before it worked properly.2. It's very power hungry. Battery life is about 20 minutes on new 1100 mAh batteries.3. Truly appalling Bluetooth range. Less than 6 metres in the open. Even less if through a caravan shell. And to make matters worse the app doesn't tell you when it's disconnected.4. Daylight legibility is non-existent. So without the app. it's completely unusable outdoors.5. (Later Edit) I've just discovered that after the latest update the app would no longer accept my log-in credentials; and the password reset option didn't recognise my email address. I ended up having to pay Digi-Pas an additional £4.69 to re-register my own device before I could use the app.
