MPI 1-3/4" Lift Front Coil Spring Spacer Set/Pair Compatible with Ford & GM Passenger Cars & Compatible with Ford, Dodge & GM 2WD Trucks/Vans

My opinion is based specifically on my truck. I have a 98 Ford Ranger 2wd extra cab. I did a lot of research and not one review mentioned the change in the ride with the spacers. I got the 1 3/4 spacers and my ride was horribly stiff. I took it to several shops to get their opinion. Some said I needed longer shocks while others said shocks may change the ride a little bit. Long story short, I took them out after about 2 weeks. Now here's the kicker, when I went to remove them, I found one of them had snapped in half. And no, I didn't do any offroad with my truck. I simply drove it in town very slowly as I took it to different shops trying to figure out my next step. It's a lot of headache just to level your truck. If it's that important, spend the money to lift it right, especially if you have coils springs in the front. My next truck will have a torsion suspension. Perhaps if your truck is 4wd and if you have a professional put them in that might be different but in my opinion, don't buy them.

Perfect fit, highly recommend! I was very surprised that I did not even need to use my spring compressor for install on a 2wd stock 1998 ford Ranger. Perfect! Went on a test drive after installing. Drives perfect feels smooth! Highly recommend alignment after any suspension modifications! Back story I have put this type on a 99 crown Victoria, it worked well also. Best affordable lift! Professional automotive technician friendly! *** Two months later update> I wish it came like this stock. So glad I finally did this! Update almost two years and still love it!
