PL8 Fresh Herb Saver PL8 1200

This herb saver works well, keeping herbs fresh and perky far longer than they will in the veg drawer or other usual spots. But I do think that the design is problematic in that you MUST lift it very low on the column since the water reservoir is only at the very bottom and doesn't actually attach in any way to the long top, so if you pick it up anywhere other than at the very bottom, you lift all the herbs out of the water, and usually the water reservoir falls off, spilling all the water. So . . . a good product that needs a sensible tweak. We use it all the time but find that problem a pain.

Kept a large bunch of cilantro fresh for close to a month. However, make sure you pick it up from the bottom or you will be cleaning up water! The reservoir easily detaches from the rest of the unit. NOTE: This herb saver is tall; top shelf or door of the refrigerator tall. Yes, I WILL probably get another because it works so well and I love cooking with fresh herbs.

Fantastic! Whoever invented these keepers is a geneious!!! Bought one petite size and was amazed how fresh my mint was 3 weeks later.I bought the first one at a Tuesday Morning store on a whim, paid a lot less but had to have another one kinda pricey but oh so worth it!!!If you want your fresh clipping from the herb garden Buy this product buy 3 at least if you have a lot of herbs!!!!

description says fits most refrigerator doors.....well, guess I'm not most....If your fridge door will hold a gallon milk jug, this will fit. I have a small kitchen, and an average sized fridge....no joy...it just fits on the top shelf, though. No instructions, either.....how much water, do I trim the ends, do I do anything differently for different herb, etc? I'll give it a whirl, and update if I change my mind!

It's a little freaky how well this works. Parsley and herbs last for weeks (really), and even asparagus stays fresh. I have stopped wasting produce. Seriously, I can't recall the last time I used the whole batch of cilantro, but with this, it stays fresh until it's all gone. So, so worth the money. No more tossed herbs and veggies!

After throwing out lots and lots of herbs I decided to try this jar. I still have a "fresh" bunch of cilantro in my fridge now...bought three weeks ago. Just make sure you change the water from time to time and you will have fresh herbs on hand...and the saver is large enough to keep more then one type of herb in it!

Keeps herbs fresh for weeks! Perfect solution for managing an herb garden. A little tall, but necessary. Would love dividers or a rectangular shaped one to keep different kinds of herbs fresh but separated. Change water every few days to keep freshness.

A great concept, works well for a week or so but my herbs started going bad after that. It still is better than not using it! It's very large so many herbs can fit in it at once.
