Make sure you reboot
It works. At first I spent hours trying to get it to work. I checked the cables and internet blogs. Changed my rasp pi OS a few times. Took a break. Came back the next day and it worked upon start up and has ever since.

Very Good Image
I'm using this for a work project with a Raspberry Pi 4 using still images, and I'm very happy with the picture quality. The lens works well for my purpose, and it's easy to focus at whatever range I'm using it for. I'd buy it again.

Good camera for my Raspberry Pi-s. The adjustable lens allows close and far focus. The stand is also helpful, but not always necessary.
