My 11yo son bought this for himself after saving for over a year. After watching a YouTube video, we put it together successfully in about 30min. We skipped the included pdf tutorial and instead followed the YouTube suggestion to download the latest version of Cura. Our first print of the cube was a botch, it had globs and mess-ups. I contacted customer service, which was awesome!, and after a little back and forth we figured out the nozzle was too close to the bed, and the print time needed slowed down. Additionally, the PLA that was included with the printer was awful and brittle and got stuck in the feeder tube...frustration later, we got that sorted out, fed brand new PLA through it, and it prints like a dream. We did have trouble with prints sticking badly to the bed, so I upgraded to a flexible magnetic bed for $12 which completely solved that problem. Now it is just fun, and my son is enjoying it! We're obviously beginners, so I can't compare to other models, but the print is smooth and clean, with no blotches or missed spots. Highly recommend!

After only having this for a month. Everything sticks! It stuck so bad that it took a chunk out of the plate! Very disappointed!

This is my first attempt at 3d printing. It was easy to assemble and I was up and printing in about 2 hours. Use the latest Cura and make sure to read any tuning instructions on any designs you go to print and you should have success. I've had no real issues and would recommend this as a good entry level printer for a beginner to start out with.

I will revisit and change my rating if I find the machine works well. But it arrived with a “quick start” guide that simply said to assembly as shown in the user manual. Great- but it didn’t include a user manual! Found one online and couldn’t make heads or tails out of it. The English translation was horrible. Found a video that didn’t seem to match exactly, as some parts that were already connected in my box, weren’t in the video, and it helped. Mine didn’t look like it had been opened and repacked, but who knows.Anyway, I consider myself pretty handy, but it took me a few hours to just get the parts put together! Haven’t even tried leveling the base or printing yet. So in my opinion, if you aren’t willing to just try to throw it together yourself, maybe buy a different machine. Very disappointed in the lack of directions. Not even sure I’ll be able to figure out how to use it without a manual! 🥺

GOT A USED ONE BUT IT WAS DESTROYED! NOBODY EVEN LOOKED AT IT

Took about 30 mins to assemble using a YouTube video, easy enough to calibrate the bed and z stops. Cant find anything to complain about, this is my second printer as you may see in the photo and it’s just as good as my anet.
