This is the antenna for low- to mid-power VHF radios which attaches to your window with no drilling required.

Instructions are poor, which are missing critical installation details, like what is front? what do you do with the cheap ground plate? Which brings me to the next point: the coupling box requires that cheap "ground" plate to be stuck somewhere with metal, it looks cheap as heck for a high end antenna, looks terrible to have an open/braided cable hanging out of it. While the TRAM glass mount is a lot longer, it has a small "radial" and doesn't look cheap, and for a fraction of the price too.Then, if you are trying to tune this antenna in the 151.4-151.8 MHz range, then forget it, the closes impedance you'll reach is around 60 Ohms... not good. The TRAM is much better and easier to tune, partly due to it being 8 inches longer (which is the reason why I tried this one) BTW, I did try in two different mounting locations and the best return loss I got was under -20dB... which is the bare minimum if you expect any decent performance... In contrast, the TRAM glass mount return loss was -32dB. Disappointing, so, I cannot recommend this antenna.
