Great Easy to Use Multi-Purpose Blower
This DEWALT 20V MAX Blower is AMAZING! My husband has a STIHL blower that is too big and heavy for me. I like to blow off my front porch and walk, and the back deck and furniture. The Dewalt is perfect for me. It is lightweight but packs a punch. The settings range from quiet and gentle, ideal for indoor use such as cleaning ceilings and ceiling fans, to a wide range of additional options, all the way to a very powerful setting, great for cleaning outside. It also has attachments for the air compressor function. I can blow up anything now with ease and convenience.I have a Dewalt drill I use around the house, and therefore have a couple of batteries and charger that also works for this blower, which DOES NOT COME WITH ONE. I recommend purchasing the brand-name battery to ensure safe and effective interaction with all your Dewalt tools and gadgets.

Big Surprises come in little packages…
I recently switched over from the red “M” brand tools/batteries to the DeWalt brand. I find the DeWalt tools are better designed overall. I have had countless “duds” from Milwaukee…a tool that looked good on screen but performed terribly on the jobsite. I haven’t had a single dud from DeWalt…until I received this blower tool earlier today.Or so I thought….When I received the package, I thought it was a joke. The box it came in was the size of two shoeboxes put together. I thought “This thing better spring out of the box as a full sized blower or In going to be taking it back…”Things only got worse when I opened it. Its frickin TINY. It’s literally the size of a raft inflator. The kind you plug in to the power port in your car. Seriously?! To make matters worse, it came with attachments that were for inflating a raft!Well…I already opened it so I might as well jam a battery into the thing and turn it on. Being the kind of guy that pays no attention to instructions or marketing words on the box, I pulled the trigger and … as I expected….a raft inflator. Gaaah. “Ok I guess I’ll take it back”.For some stupid reason, I decided to flip through the manual as I was packing it back up. I saw “THIS IS NOT A TOY” … like many many times. Intrigued, I read more…until I got to the page that explained the three power settings….Ehhhh wha? Where? I took the blower out of its packaging and sure enough, right in front of my eyes I saw the switch to set the power. Of course, it comes from the factory on “Low”. Whatever…I still think it’s too small and clearly I have received my first DeWalt dud. I set it on Max, slammed in my big 5mah battery and pulled the trigger. That was a BIG mistake…why? I was in my shop at the time and let’s just say I accidentally rearranged my tools….that’s right: Tools…This little “dud” roared to life and blew a bunch of medium sized screwdrivers right off the workbench along with my vice grips, a TV remote, my cup of coffee, some paperwork and the box it came in!! All that from one quick squeeze on the high setting!!What a mess! I didn’t care…I ran outside and tried it on the back yard…blew all the leaves off of the pea-gravel…then it started blowing the gravel to expose dirt (oops)…okay what’s next? I took it inside the house and cleared the dining room table with it. Sweet. The dogs were staring at me, wondering if this is the point where I have gone insane. It was tempting to blow some air in their direction but remembered: “THIS IS NOT A TOY!”I got an idea: The interior of my car is really dusty….I opened both doors and went to town….I cleared out all the crap in the door cards, something I was dreading….done!Okay…so I’ll keep it.I checked the battery after 15 minutes of use….still had all bars…I didn’t even make a dent in the battery.So. Long story short: This isn’t a toy…it’s not a “dud”. It’s the real deal. I bought this with the intention of clearing my roof of summer debris in anticipation of fall…yeah, it will be just fine.I love the size now. It’s so easy to carry…it’s ergonomic…it’s not too loud, although I recommend hearing protection just because. It’s easy on the batteries and it’s POWERFUL!I’m actually afraid to use it to inflate anything…even on the low setting. So far my only con is that when I am using it, the suction from the side of the motor is so strong that it sucks in my shirt! I have to be mindful of this blower. It’s a BEAST!My hat is off to the DeWalt engineers…this thing pushes a LOT of air! What a bargain!Look for used ones. I’m certain many returned it without reading the instructions…

Good product
3 speeds that are noticeably different. Works great for clearing out debris from the rocky area of our landscaping. Use it to clear off the driveway from the maples trees in our yard. Will keep it in our camper this summer but still handy for a lot of things. Wife tested and approved. The batteries last plenty long.Happy with the purchase. Recommend!

Great product, lightweight and powerful
Fabulous. I am a petite woman and this is so easy to use. Leaves, dirt and debris and dusty snow. I blew the snow off my car too. Only complaint it the funnel tip did not attach properly so it falls off. Nothing a little duck tape won’t fix so great product!

Value Value Value!
This thing is great! Plenty of power! It's has no commercial use in its future but for around the house, blowing off side walk, patio, and getting the dust bunnies out its perfect.Be prepared for a shock. It's a lot smaller than you think. Also the nozzle doesn't stay on when doing a sweeping motion. Little duct tape fix that.Battery life is sufficient for home use. 2 batteries will get any job done.I highly recommend this product.
