Excellent lights that supplement your main (brighter) headlight and tail light. You can use them on motorcycles too.
I took one star off because two of the lights shipped with batteries that were nearly dead so I went out to buy some fresh ones from the store.Other than that, I love the idea of a rubber strap wrapping around any part of your frame to provide additional illumination. I would emphasize that these lights aren't bright enough for you to see at night with. Instead, they are meant for car drivers to see you better. In fact, I've added them to my motorcycle so drivers see me better during the day and night (left turning drivers are the number one killer for motorcyclists). The rubber strap with three widths allows great flexibility on where to mount them. After buying a very bright headlight and tail lamp like the Planet Bike 2W Blaze and Superflash combo, buy a pair or two of these and mount them to the sides of your bicycle frame. This way, drivers approaching directly from the side or diagonally will better see you, especially if you put them in flash mode. The only thing I'm concerned about is how long the rubber strap will last before it becomes brittle from UV damage and water and mud. I plan to coat it with 303 Aerospace to protect it from the sun, but the water and mud will be harder to avoid given where I ride.

but they certainly look like they'd fit on the tubes of the handlebars or ...
Lights just arrived. I bought them to put on my 12 year old son's helmet, now that the days are so short. Unfortunately, they really don't attach to a helmet, at least not to any of the ones we have. However, they are very bright, at least in the line of their focus. And the shells are hard and aluminum and seem very durable. I don't know what the battery life will be, as we haven't been able to use them. We will probably figure out something to set up and use them on his helmet, or will find some other use for them. We all have lights on our handlebars already, but they certainly look like they'd fit on the tubes of the handlebars or seat tube with no problems.

There once was a guy from LA, who rode a bright purple bike everyday.Cruzin' with traffic and cars during the day was alright, but problems arose when at night he did bike.Biking round town under the cover of dark, he learned his lesson all too soon...That drivers couldn't see him whizzing about, by only the light of the moon.He needed a light for bike that was great, and didn't just break like a twig,so he researched online, people said "these are a find" and so buy them is just what he did! They were easy to install on the bars or back racks, these two tiny lights with silicone straps...they blinked fast or blinked slow, or didn't blink at all, with just a push of the button he made the call. Now he can bike through the night without stress, strife or worry...if you need Bike Safety Lights... buy these in a hurry!

The rear light shuts itself off when hitting bumps
Well, I like these lights because they are easy to place on my bike and I've been using them for a while. However, the rear redlight seems to shut off on it's own perhaps due to bumps in the road. I've even reinforced it with zip ties, replaced the batteries and made sure the top was snug and it still seems to shut off. So, guess I will be going back to Serfas Seat Stay Tailight.

If you are not very careful it would be easy to damage
Bought these for my wife's bike since she does a fair bit of biking to/from Yoga class in the evenings after work. I wanted something that she could take off of her bike quickly and put back on since items in Philly tend to disappear. These lights definitely provide that. I only removed 1 start due to the flimsy battery spring housing. If you are not very careful it would be easy to damage. I will give the manufacturer credit, they do warn you about this, so I took my time when setting them up. If you make sure everything is lined up and don't force anything, the battery install will go fine.

Seemed great at first, but 4 months later...
At first, I really loved these lights. They're very bright, they're housed in sturdy metal shells, and they're a snap to take on and off. They really did seem like an excellent bargain. However, after a couple of months with the lights, the front light fell off of its rubber strap while I was riding, and I never saw it again. Six weeks or so after that, I lost the rear light in the same fashion except that I did not even realize it was gone until I got home. Each time, the straps held tight to my bike, but the rest of the light was somehow able to shake loose. So, I have to give these lights two stars because they're just not worth the money -- they randomly wiggle their ways out of their straps and fall off your bike. The lights seem very sturdy, and I imagine that they are likely to survive those falls, but that doesn't matter if you can never find them again.

Great product for budget minded bikers.
I bought this a friend whom does not ride at night but takes off early and rides all day in big bike clubs. I believe lighting is good to have on all bikes, I tested these myself and put them together and mounted them in just a few minutes no tools. They work very well for how compact they are. They increase your visibility for a long distance! The flash mode is very bright and exactly what I was looking for out of the tail light and headlight for day time and early morning riding! The one thing I can note that makes this stand out is the customer service has been amazing. I didnt know companies still cared about if you liked their products or not but apparently some still do! Thanks again for being so friendly!I would buy them again and would recommend them to friends looking for good priced minimal lighting needed to be seen during early or late day riding. Of course if your biking at night these can be moved quickly to your helmet and turn on some serious lighting on the bike.
