OK for a year or two
Having used this generator over more than ten years I can attest to its usefulness and simplicity in operation. However the first unit I bought began to exhibit frequency wander in the range of at least 25 percent of the intended setting. As it was then more than a few years old, I purchased another one and, low and behold, it began to also wander in frequency after a few years, making it largely unusable for my purposes. Cleaning of the controls and their contacts did not provide a remedy. It appears that some component or components are heating as the unit warms up, producing a very undesirable result.

Reliable
I set up a small experimental lab with a O'Scope, Power Supply and this Function Generator. Great addition to my lab.
