The media could not be loaded.  I'm very pleased with this purchase. You have to install an app called Smart Life to set it up. I had already had this app installed from previous smart light purchases (all different brands I've bought so far seem to use this same app for setup) so it was literally a matter of flicking the light switch on-off-on-off-on for it to go into pairing mode. It takes less than a minute.Once its setup, you can add it to your Google Home app and just use that and voice control to control it. It has a full range of light and can be dimmed. The Smart life app gives you a lot more options to play with the light compared to Google Home (just gives you a few light choices). You can, for instance, set it to disco mode. Or you can just ask Google for reading light, or white light or night light to change the colours. You can also set it up using IFTTT (just google it) to for instance make the light turn on and off at sunset and sunrise. Pretty cool stuff.

Another faulty bulb. I brought the first of these bulbs in October, It worked for a few months & then suddenly one day started turning itself on, flickering and flashing multiple colours & not responding to the app. I did all the troubleshooting steps but issues persisted. I contacted Amazon who agreed to refund me my money. I saw a deal for a double pack so thinking the faulty bulb was just a one off i decided to replace it. I received the new bulbs today and have been using one for a few hours and this one has now started flickering. I gave these Infray bulbs a second chance and Im now completely regretting it.I contacted the Smart Life customer service regarding the first faulty bulb and they are an absolute joke, it takes them 3-4 days just to respond to issues, Simply Awful. in the first instance you compare these cheap bulbs to the more pricy name brands and you think your getting a deal so you go for them, I now see why these bulbs are so much cheaper than Phillips etc. If i decide to purchase another smart bulb i think i will simply have to pay the money and buy a quality bulb from a reputable brand.

Allows me to turn the landing and hall lights off after my other half leaves them on every morning. Plus I can change them to any colour or have a little disco if I want. Comes with an app which works fine on its own, or you can use it with Alexa too.The only downside, which would be the same with any smart bulb, is that if it's turned off at the switch, the app can't of course turn it back on - it's getting no electricity. Also, if it's been switched off via the app and then someone tries to use the actual switch to turn it back on, it takes two or sometimes four switches to get it back on. Husband is grumpy about this and says I'll be getting an app to control him next. If anyone knows where to get one of those, do tell :D

This is a review for the WiFi Smart Bulb, by Infray, B22 Bayonet 9W Smart Light Bulb which was fulfilled by Amazon.Excellent bulbs in comparison to sonoff, philips hue & Hive.These bulbs are by far the brightest which is a good thing. Seem to be well made and no difference in setup infact I would say its easier than sonoff.Edit 05.05.2019 : The bulb changes colour with alexa, I discovered an old routine that was conflicting, removed this and now it works perfectly on voice command.This device is rated 4* pending a future 5* This is because I have only had this brand for under 1 week so I cannot comment on Infrays server uptime, hopefully they are using AWS servers. I will of course report back on this.Please note I am not an Amazon Vine reviewer therefore products are currently purchased with my own cash. These bulbs are much better than I expected. I already had Smart Life app downloaded, so adding them to my existing system was a doddle. I was initially slightly confused because, from the picture, I thought there would be a separate remote for doing things like changing the colour, but that's actually controlled from within Smart Life on the phone which is even better. I specifically chose these because they are dimmable and the whiteness can be controlled. Finding the additional features was a pleasant surprise. I may not use the ability to link the bulb to flash different colours along with music, but the ability to set 'scenes' with different brightness, temperature and colour I will definitely use, along with scheduling and automation.

Some people have mentioned already that they were difficult to setup, but for me they were simple. We have already got one setup in the living room and wanted further ones for the dining room and Bedroom. The price for a pack of 2 is brilliant. The kids love that they can just turn them whatever colour they want (which at times can be a tad annoying, but kids will be kids). They also work with both my google mini and Echo dot. The kids now want them in their bedroom!

I realy liked these bulbs when they worked. The ability to change the colour temp and brightens, easy set up and wired great with Alexa. However 1st bulb blew within a month. I was going to put down to bad luck and ordered another box. When that turned up it was open and one didn't work. Guess someone had same issue, sent back and they got sent back out in error!? Anyway 1 week on and the second bulb has blown!! Going to cut my losses, trying to return but will move to diffrent brand now.

Super simple to set up. Less than 2 minutes to get them integrated with the smart life app - which I already had setup with smart sockets. Straight forward asking alexa to turn on, off, colour changes and brightness etc. Like that these are also selectable true white as existing led lights I am replacing g are true white. You can of course set to warm white and anywhere in between.**EDIT - now both of these have failed a month apart - lights intermittently flicker and no longer can be paired for setup. More expensive ones I bought around the same time are still operating perfectly and so I guess you get what you pay for. So lesson learned. Pay more.
