Fast, fun 2-player game
We bought this for my son who enjoys games and he taught me to play in minutes. Fun and strategic. Good for two players as well as a bigger group. Nice quality, durable.

Harder to beat than we anticipated, which is good.
I got this as a surprise date night activity for my husband and I. He has been wanting to play more co-op style games (mostly videogames). But he loves board games and foxes, so when I saw an add for this game on Instagram I immediately bought it, no questions asked. The game takes 20-30 minutes to play. We easily beat the game the first time we played it, so we thought it was going to be too easy, but ever since then it has been a fun way for us to get defeated. It's a healthy amount of strategy and luck, as well as a great way to work together with your partner--trying to be on the same thought pattern without being able to communicate.I would definitely recommend this for any friends or couples who are into board games that don't take too long (like Catan or Sythe), and who don't want to get too competitive with each other. It's also super travel friendly!

Great Couples Game, Fun to Play While Listening to a Podcast
Just before the start of COVID-19, my partner and I decided to get sober together. After replacing our (embarrassingly overwhelming) drinking time with reading and movies, we started to struggle to find something else fun to do together while locked away at home. We started playing checkers while listening to our favorite podcasts, but that got a little repetitive. Eventually I picked up this and another two player card game as a gift.During our first game, at least three or four times my partner stopped to say "I'm having a REALLY good time right now." It took us through our first round of 11 tricks to really get the hang of how the game is played, but it was super easy after that. It's simple enough (plus you're not supposed to coordinate mid-round) that we can listen to a podcast or audiobook or talk about other things at the same time, but complex enough to keep us engaged and challenged.Definitely worth the money. $15 feels like a steal.

A nice couples intro to co-op gaming
My gf and I typically play competitive games so it was nice to finally set our thirst for blood aside and work togetherIf you played fox in the forest before then duet will be fairly easy to learn. The game is fairly straightforward but can be challenging! We played 4 times before we scored our first win (lucked out on a mistake) and it was extremely satisfying.I think replayability depends on how you like your games. I could see us popping it open Every other month. Once we accomplished our first win we were semi burnt out.Artwork is beautiful. Definitely giftable to newbies:)

Perfect and cute co-operative game
Adorable and fun co-op game for two people! On the first read-through of the game play, it can seem a bit confusing and there's a lot going on, but after the first play through or two, it all works together well! Small enough to travel with and doesn't take much space to play.

Finally - a fun cooperative game
My wife and I enjoy playing various card games but its tough always be going head to head with the person you love. I was going to buy Fox in the Forest (regular) but when I saw the cooperative "Duet" version I figured I would give it a try. We both love it! It seems complicated up front but you watch the video and you will have it by the second run. Its simple in how you play it but there is a LOT of strategy and can be very complex to get a good win strategy. And when you win, you both rejoice! There is a small board with chips you use so you need a tabletop. The cards are simple, elegant, and appealing.

Just an okay game
We bought this game based on review, but didn't really care for it. It was a little tricky to learn, but simple to play once you learn. Maybe a little too simple.

Fun for avid card players
My boyfriend and I are avid card players and especially love trick games. This game is perfect because it uses the basic rules of one of our favorite trick games, spades, but with extra bonuses! I love that it is cooperative. If you already know how to play spades it's really easy to pick up. I suggest just watching a youtube video, that's the easiest way to learn it.The entire game board and pieces are rather small, just a little bigger than the deck of cards. I love that! It's really transportable and we can bring thing on road trips.Overall this game was a great purchase. It's really nice to mix things up with a cooperative game. There's not many two-player cooperative board games and this one knocks it out of the park. Not too hard, not too easy to win!
