ProGrade Digital Gen 1 CFexpress 120GB Memory Card

I would like to send a shoutout to Daniel a sales representative for ProGrade Digital, he was very helpful in sending me information about the download for Prograde digital card reader... I now can use Sony xqd cards (3) 128gb and the CFexpress card reader. I can’t wait to use the CFexpress card on my Nikon Z6. Be safe out there.

Confirmed working with Nikon Z6 firmware 2.20 formats to a respectable 111Gb.A considerable saving & faster performance of equivalent XQD cards, indeed cheaper than Sandisk cfx as well, I consider this a welcome saving after the purchase of a new camera.However refresh software is $29.99 & there is also recovery software available but I am unable to get a price for it, some website bug perhaps?I do not have a proper cfx card reader yet to test speeds. 4 stars due to this & the price.

Used this in my Z7 and hoped for a speed increase while shooting batches of images for HDR photography. With XQD never had buffer issues but with this card I had to sometimes pause while buffer cleared. Perhaps as it's not officially supported yet this might improve with further firmware update. This is with 2.20 in early Feb 2020. Decided to return the card and try the officially supported Sony one instead. Shame as these Prodigital cards where a lot cheaper

Ridiculously fast. In the past I’ve always bought Sandisk cards (CF, SD, XQD) but this was £100 cheaper than the Sandisk equivalent. All working well so far...

Ich nutze die prograde cfexpress 120gb in der z6 und mit der aktuellen Firmware 3.0 parallel zu ner 120gb Sony xqd.Ich hab sie gekauft da sie die billigste 12gb Karte für meine Z6 ist/war.Grundsätzlich funktioniert sie anstandslos und macht keine Probleme.Jedoch ist sie spürbar langsamer als meine sony xqd, ich tippe auf ca 30-50% langsamer.Leider spürt man das bei der z6 relativ bald da sie einen sehr kleinen Puffer hat, bei der Sony dagegen hab ich keine Probleme da sie wesentlich schneller weckspeichert.Ich persönlich finde das ganze sehr seltsam da sie ja laut Hersteller Angaben wesentlich schneller sein soll, ob das an der kamera, Software oder der Karte liegt kann ich nicht beurteilen.Zusätzlich sollte man bedenken daß man Lesegeräte für xqd schon sehr günstig und von verschiedenen Hersteller bekommt (zumindest die China Dinger), bei cfexpress dagegen ist die Auswahl sehr eingeschränkt und es gibt nur teure, zusätzlich hab ich überhaupt nur einen gefunden der sowohl xqd als auch cfexpress kann...Ich hoffe das sich die Lage bessert, da die Karten ein Schweine Geld kosten, was es umso bitterer macht das man die Geschwindigkeit nichtmal nutzen kann.Fazit: Grundsätzlich kann man zugreifen auch wenn die Performance nicht ganz passt scheinen sie zumindest zuverlässig zu sein und preislich sind/waren sie die bilkigsten, zusätzlich denke ich auch das alles mit einen Software Update noch besser werden könnte.Und die Lage mit den Lesegeräten wird sich über die Zeit auch bessern.

Opinión totalmente objetiva y tras haberla probado. Tengo una Nikon Z6 con una XQD de Sony (de mi D500, utilizada mientras esperaba esta nueva tarjeta que en teoría sería mucho mejor). Nada más llegar me dispongo a probar como rinde en ráfagas. Mientras que con mi XQD puedo tirar cientos de fotos en RAW + JPG F, con esta tarjeta en cuestión de segundos se atraganta el buffer. La velocidad de escritura es, al menos en las Nikon Z6, lamentable. Procedo a devolverla y comprar una XQD como la de mi D500.
