Advertised as starlight, color at night. Good at low light but very grainy with white noise speckles at very low light levels which trigger my motion detecting recorder resulting in recording sparkles all night long.Manual did not tell where to find zoom and focus controls and lens cap was very tight and at first didn't seem removable but I took a chance and unscrewed the very stiff cap to find the controls.At the longest focal length it could not be focused. Had to use less magnification to get it to focus.

Description says CMOS sensor the camera I received says 1/3" ccd not sure what's up with that, also color nightvision is not set to "on" from factory, its set for "auto" first night it stayed black and white will swith it to "color" since "auto" apparently does nothing, I love the starlight cameras beacuse of the full color nightvision and ultra low light slow shutter, but I've never had to adjust any settings from factory before the've added so many options on these to turn on and off it takes you a while to figure out what night time picture is more suitable but once you find the right setting you'll have a great looking picture.

Camera is bigger than I expected. Disappointed that it didn't come with power supply. Glad I was replacing old cameras and already had power. Got camera hooked up and mounted and very pleased with picture. Hooked it up around dusk and stayed in color mode until it finally got dark enough to switch to black and white. I moved it back to color mode and the picture was much more clear in black and white at night. So far, very happy with the camera so I ordered another one. Very easy to change settings. Give it 4.7 stars. Little deduction for not providing power supply.

Beautiful picture most of my cameras are 700 tvl this one is 1200 very noticible difference I will be buying more I recommend setting up the camera before final installation using a separate monitor I use PAL over NTSC the picture is clearer with PAL The night vision is very clear as well
