Delicious nut-free chocolate coins!
I always think of cheap tinny tasting chocolate when I think of chocolate coins, but these are delicious. But for me the best part is that these chocolates are NUT FREE. They should really post it in the description. If you go to the Albert Premier Chocolate website you will see they posted that the chocolates do not contain, or have cross-contamination issues with tree nuts or peanuts. I bought these to use for Chinese New Year to put into red envelopes for my youngest child's class, and got something else for my older child's class as she has a tree nut allergy. Was so happy to find out these delicious chocolates are safe for both kids to eat! You also get a ton of gold chocolate coins. Will definitely buy again. (The bank canister is came in was fine, too - no dents or damage.)

Not for chocolate lovers, DISGUSTING!
The reviews mentioned damaged packaging but decent chocolate. The box arrived dented and damaged not from shipping but how it was before they sent it to us. I could live with that if the chocolate was edible but it was old and stale. It's a horrible tasting overly sweet chocolate which none of us could eat including our 3 year old with the sweetest tooth. Didn't know Belgim chocolate could taste so bad!

She tells me they are really good and by the amount she eats
My wife loves these Belgian Chocolate Coins. I just reordered for the third time. She tells me they are really good and by the amount she eats, I must believe her. I am not a big chocolate fan, but I make sure she has plenty of chocolate. The Albert Belgian Chocolate Coins come individually wrapped in a gold foil wrapping paper. She has commented that she has trouble getting the paper off when she wants to eat one. That is why the 4 star and not the 5 star rating. From what I can tell, the chocolate is excellent and the gold coin paper is a fun way to enjoy them. The metal casing that they are shipped in is actually a coin bank. The top slips off easily to get to the contents. My son first bought these for my wife for Christmas and I have reordered them every since. The coin bank and the coin tinfoil wrapped Belgian chocolate candy is a real treat and a great gift.

The can showed many bumps
I was planning to give this as a present. It was poorly protected against damage during shipping. I won't be able to use it for that though. Is supposed to be Belgian chocolate however the coins are printed as us coins. They taste good though is not cheap chocolate. If the can will have been in perfect shape I will have given four stars to the product.

Not consistent quality!
Bought these twice in fall of 2015. Both tins were too dented for some other esthetic use. The metal was also too thin to press out neatly. The first one I bought had good quality chocolate although some of the gold foil coins had loose foil. The most recent one I purchased had mostly bent and misshapen coins. (See picture. The foil halves you see were in the metal box. They were not from coins I opened. Some amazing curves and dents in those coins, no?) They must have been rejects or seconds or melted with pressure on them somewhere along the line. I opened several of the most damaged ones but only found one that had the tell tale sign of tan from melting. Some coins tasted fresh and some were obviously not to someone who savors the taste of good chocolate. Too late to get more, but I can say that the children (11-12 yrs old) were excited and loved them anyway and thanked me profusely. Maybe I will try one more time....four stars for the first tin and two for the second equals three stars. There is something very appealing and eye opening about having fist fulls of coins to pass out, but they should be neat, flat, and well sealed. Here is hoping they get better at it.

Good value.
My kids love chocolate coins, and it's kind of hard to find them other than around Hanukkah. The chocolate is pretty good quality (not as creamy as others I've had, but good flavor... Belgian chocolate is generally good) and I like the box it comes in. The lid of the box has a coin slot, so it can be used as a piggy bank. Shipping was a bit expensive, but I suppose it's kind of heavy. :-)

The worse order I ever made
I ordered these gold coin chocolate for my son's birthday party. Since they are packaged in a tin, I thought the gold coins would be well protected.I was shocked when I open the package. The sticker on the tin was alreay Torn open. All the gold coins are scatter around the package box. Many of them are damaged, the gold foil peel off, the chocolate cracked...I was so disappointed!!!

They taste great!
I am not sure why Chocolate Coins cost so much or why they usually taste so nasty but they do LOL Well not these!!!!! They are great. I needed them for a themed party and couldn't find any decently priced ones, then I found these. They are well worth the $$. The chocolate tastes good, they arrived super fast and they come in a nice tin. We enjoyed these.
