This is half the price of regular branded rangefinders, but it works extremely well.I tested it just after I received it and the image was clear and the range was easily determined. In normal and bright daylight, it works well, but as light falls it is not so easy to measure distance.However, for the price, the ease of use and the comfortable small handy size it is worth every penny and the 5 stars.I should also add that I had excellent pre-sales support direct from the manufacturer too.

Excellent item, I've had various rangefinders in the past, Leica, Vortex etc and this is definitely comparable. Clarity is great, field of vision is excellent, build quality again great. For the money it can't be beaten, especially when it's got a carry case etc included. A very neat and aesthetically pleasing package.

Great thing quick, light and easy to use. I just wish the eye piece was a little better, I sometimes struggle with it. Also my range estimate was way off haha, I now use this to help train my eye. Estimate range of something with my eye then check. My own estimation is getting better.

As good and as accurate as my shooting mates Vortex Range finder, just a bit bigger fit in the hand

This is the best rangefinder i have ever used, so very accurate, never misses a reading, always spot on. Puts my Hawke to shame. Cannot recommend this enough.If it broke or gets lost will replace immediately with the same model

I am using this product currently to field range for air rifle hunting , But it has so many opportunities to shine , Ranging boats in a harbour or race for example, I will keep it in my go bag always.

Today my AOFAR H2 was delivered. About me: I'm a bow hunter, and an occasional rifle hunter. I'm always looking for deals and could have easily purchased a much more expensive rangefinder. I require ranging out to 300m ish.Packaging was excellent and complete. Instructions were clear, but appears to have been modified with stickers over ranges. Battery is a Panasonic and appears new. Everything, including the lanyard, appears flawless and new. Case zipper and the case itself is nice.Measured the accuracy at 20yds and was bang-on within the 0.5 yd +/- tolerance.Used the rangefinder at the range today and the accuracy was on par with a much more expensive Leuopold rangefinder. I also compared it to a Nikon 3i and the ranges were within 0.5yds of each other.It has hunting mode that gives you the angle +/-. Real nice if you're using a treestand or shooting from elevated positions.****The major downfall is the actual casing. It is camouflage, and seems cheap. Not robust or armoured. All the decals and grips are well secured, but overall I'm not confident that the plastic housing wall take a drop/fall and protect the electronic components. Also, the numbers in the screen are readable, but not as clear as more expensive models like Nikon.*****I do like the rangefinder overall. I like that the plastic protects the end of the lenses, and the lens are decently clear. Overall it works, and will see what happens in the future regarding durability.

1 - Battery hog - The battery which came with lasted approximately 30-40 scan at archery mode2 - VERY POOR GLASSES - —> the glasses seems to get foggy when temperatures change (internally - can’t wipe) . Just when the buck showed up. All around the edges—> can hardly see in low light. Much darker than your own eyes viewingThis is a very poor product for a serious hunter and a good product for a golfer. Will be returning ASAP

So out of the box it worked and seemed to be working good sighted my bow with it, next time I used it which was 5 min ago won’t even turn on. Battery is fine I checked it a few times no reason for it to do this, it’s been sitting on my shelf in the provided case for the past week untouched. Garbage to me like this I’m returning it on Monday

I use it on the range and hunting. There is a nice natural zoom that comes with the ranger. A clear picture on the other side and accurate. I typically use it within 300m but that's ranging it against a flat wall on a well lit day. Does not work well under low light conditions. I also noticed that it provides a Hz distance calculator and angle. Great value.

This unit is nice and compact and is simple to use.My main use is along with a Compound Bow.I measured out 15yd, 20yd, 25yd, 30yd, 40yd & 50 yd and this rangefinder was bang-on at all distances!I taped the rangefinder to my camera tripod and using a clinometer, set it at angles of 11deg and 22deg. The angle readouts in the rangefinder corresponded with each of the two angles.The automatic "compensated shooting distances" (for a bow) for each of the 2 angles above was similar to what I have found on websites which uses a calculation to determine this shooting distance. This rangefinder indicates both the actual and the compensated distances when in use.The carrying case which has a belt loop strap is very handy!There had been an issue on my original purchase but Customer Service addressed this promptly and efficiently and checked back to ensure I was satisfied and happy with this purchase.
