Absolutly the Best Router! Exceptional Coverage with added powerline coverage!
Have never had a better signal and we have multiple gamers in the house running several electronics, smart gadgets, bulbs, outlets and such on our wi-fi all day long. Hasnt had even a slight issue. We have 3 spaced in triangle formation in a ranch home as per directions. Our wi-fi now goes way out past our screened porch and driveway. The powerline connection helps extend the signal thru all the electrical wiring in the home and its definetly worth every penny. I did research before buying as the gaming and smart devices we have need a strong signal all day and night. Each of the three units also has ethernet connection so you can have a wired device in more than one place without running ethernet cable all thru your home. The Deco app is nice letting you assign a name to every separate device. Parental controls are sufficient if needed. Overall this is the best router set up and Im thankful I went the extra mile in researching as other routers dont have the powerline added benefit.Since purchasing, weve added a TV, 4k firestick, and gaming all wireless on the porch. Theres no lag in gaming or buffering with the firestick. Weve told several people about the deco system and will continue to do so. Linksus also has many other items that will help you make your home smarter!

These are fantastic with a few quirks
This is my first meshed wifi solution and I have to say that in operation they are really great.I have a 2 story that is about 80 feet end to end and I have never been able to get decent wifi throughout the house using wifi repeaters. I end up having to switch to different wifi networks depending on where I am in the house. The Deco Mesh system is a game changer. One at each end of the house and one in the middle and I can now roam seamlessly through the house and on the front and back porches with 4 to 5 bars of wifi everywhere and without dropping a beat, even on a Zoom call. I also like that they backhaul Ethernet through the house electric wires instead of sucking up half their speed repeating my signal back to the main unit. I have used TPL Powerline blocks for a long time and I am very satisfied with their ethernet over power line performance, which was a big part of my decision to try TPL's mesh wifi system.Fast Roaming is the thing that does the trick. It lets clients disconnect from one Deco and connect to another without losing packets. Those clients have to understand the 802.11r protocol for this to work. I have HP, Dell, and Lenovo laptops, 3 Vizio smart TVs of various ages, Google Home minis, several generations of iPads, a Microsoft Surface (5th gen) and Samsung phones that all work well with the mesh network. I have one 2018 Samsung UN75NU6950 that refuses to connect. If I turn off fast roaming it connects but it disables seamless roaming for everything else. That's really my only complaint, otherwise it is great coverage and speed seamlessly everywhere in my house. The app is not great and it is required to set these things up. You have to have a tablet or phone running Android or iOS and you have to install their app. There was no web interface built in to the device like you get with a router until a very recent firmware update, and even with the new interface it is view only for most everything. The app is very "consumery" so if you're a tech nerd like I am you will be frustrated at the lack of options and information it provides. It gets you up and running and lets you enable/disable some functions but it's really basic. I am running it in Access point mode with my own external router, not as a router (which it is capable of doing) so there may be more options in that mode but in AP mode it's very basic.Overall, a fantastic product. Even with the few negative things I've mentioned I would buy this same Deco P9 again.

Pretty deceny as an access point. Okay as a router, when it works properly
I bought this to use as an interim router when my old nighthawk died, and it worked alright as a main router with some very minor connectivity/stability issues. The app is clean and easy to use for folks that might not be too tech savvy. Having now purchased the router I really wanted to begin with, switching the deco network over to access point mode was mostly painless with help from tech support. Honestly, a much better product overall as just an access point.Router mode: 3/5 (sometimes 1/5) due to delivered speeds on Gigabit connection, somewhat spotty connectivity, and minor stability issues (sattelites sometimes disconnect for no apparent reason).Access mode: 4/5 solid product when used in this mode for a relatively fair price.Phone app: 4/5 simple and easy to use especially for folks who might not be tech savvy, but lacks some more in depth settings controls you find with higher end gaming oriented router apps.Tech support: 5/5 tech support for TP-link is surprisingly and refreshingly helpful for some of the more frustrating issues with this product. Short phone wait times too. Without the tech support this product would verge on an overall 1 or 2 star rating when used in router mode.
