Age appropriate for my 16 month old. She absolutely loves the whole set. Very strong legos, great size and different shapes. Love that it comes with flowers and little people too. Made us want to buy more sets! Definitely recommend.

This has been thus far my best 'toy investment'. When I buy my 2 year old a toy it is always either a hit or miss. She might like it or she might not, or she might like it for a day or two and then doesn't care for it anymore.I have had this lego block for a while now and it's my baby's favorite toy. She plays with it everyday. I love how it lets her be creative.It has a good amount of blocks and comes with 2 little lego dolls. For added bonus it comes with the lego storage box which is super cool and makes it easy to store.

This is a fun Duplo set that is colorful and perfect for young toddlers. I let my 1.5 year old play with it but she didn’t start getting really interested in the pieces until she was a little older, closer to 2.I love that there are various sizes of colored blocks as well as some novelty pieces, including a car, 2 mini figures, and flowers. This set also comes with a small instruction booklet that gives some construction ideas to get you started.

Wonderful little set ! My toddler loves it ! And so convenient to have a box to put all Lego in !

I bought this set because I was looking for one with a variety of blocks, but also one with a good number of them too. I originally bought a smaller Duplo set (wind turbine and electric car) for my 4 year old's birthday just for the fact that it came with a "fan" and squirrel and those were her special interests at the time. She loved the fan and her 2 year old sister loved the car and few blocks it came with. It was only 16 pieces in the set and 4 of those are actual building blocks, but it didnt stop little sister from putting them together and showing Mommy the "boat" she made. I knew I had to get more blocks for her to build with, and I also wanted a nice starter set with a variety of blocks. I couldn't find any sets with JUST blocks but this one checked all the other boxes of things i was looking for. I love that it comes in a neat Lego storage box, but the ONLY bad thing about it is it can be a little tricky to open. I love having toys my kids can enjoy on their own without them having to ask for help to open or play with, but the lid snaps in and it surprisingly is tricky for me to pull up at the right angle to lift off so they def can't do it. It has a great variety of colors and types of pieces and a surprisingly decent number of 2x2 blocks which has been great for building stairs for the Duplo kids to climb up and down. That being said, the blocks don't stay together SUPER well. I understand that's kinda the point with it being for toddlers, that you want it to be easy to put together and take apart, but it also frustrates my youngest when she's building and the smallest bit of pressure on an unstable structure in the right place will cause the whole thing to collapse in and/or topple over. Duplo blocks don't stick tightly together like Lego do. It's more of a soft hug lolAll in all this is a great set for toddlers and a perfect gift for beginners.

Nice size leggos for toddlers. We like that there are numbers on them to help with counting. Wish there was more variety for building.
