MY FROGS WERE IMPRESSED
I have a smallish frog pond in my courtyard. It's one of those kidney-shaped plastic ones, and it's been harboring families of frogs for about 15 years. I keep a pump running in it, daily, and throughout the seasons. My current pump finally stopped after about two years beyond the warranty. I called all the local hardware and garden stores, hoping to find the same brand. After many suggestions from salespeople to spend up to 3 times as much for different brands, I finally connected with AMAZON.I found the exact same pump, used enough reward points to bring the price down by $28.00, AND received it at 7AM the next morning. I plugged it in and my frogs applauded - at least I like to think so.

Did not last.
Mine started kicking the GFCI in less than a year which is surprising as the pump supposedly is sealed. My experience in the past was much better with pumps lasting 5-10 years At this price, I am unhappy with having to replace in less than a year. Unfortunately, the system is designed for this specific pump, so I am stuck unless I want to redesign everything.

A nice pump but durability issues
If this pump were more durable I’d give it 5 stars. It’s quiet and has good flow. Plus it’s less likely to suffer failure running dry for awhile. But I’ve had to replace it now about every 2 years (it runs every day for more than 12 hours. Causes of the failure vary. The last time one of the posts securing the impeller to the pump housing simply separated at the housing (apparently from mechanical fatigue) possibly caused by micro vibrations transmitted acoustically from the impeller. Once one post separated it caused the impeller to run non-true so it got stuck.

Works good, slightly noisy for fish tank.
Its got a low level vibration noise, much less when the cabinet is closed. My picky wife doesnt seem to mind. You can spend 2x the amount on one of those silent versions they carry at the high end aquarium stores. I would like to try those to alleviate my ocd.I have been running this version for 3+ years and recently got another as a backup. I suspect the noise level is not a priority since this is marketed toward pond owners. I run it on a 6 fit head , 50 gallon tank with a wet dry sump.
