Art and lettering
These are the perfect pens for calligraphy practice, journaling, and lettering, but I also love them for marker art, especially floral/botanical.

Decent pens for Chinese writing practice
I recently purchased these colored pens for my Chinese writing practice, hoping they would provide more precision than a felt tip brush marker with a fine point. While these pens do offer the ability to create thicker or thinner lines depending on how they are grasped, they aren’t without their drawbacks.Firstly, they work fairly well for the most part. The fine point allows for precise strokes, and with some practice, you can achieve a calligraphy effect. However, it takes a bit of trial and error to master making the lines thinner or thicker. Unfortunately, more often than not, they end up producing the same flat, straight thin line. One major issue I found is that the colors are not very saturated. The lighter hues, such as orange and yellow, are hardly visible on white lined notebook paper. This can be quite frustrating if you’re aiming for vibrant and clear writing. Additionally, if the pen is angled improperly, the color doesn’t come out at all, which can disrupt the writing flow.On the positive side, for the price, these pens are a good choice for practicing kanji, katakana, hiragana, hanzi, and hangul. They provide a decent level of precision and flexibility for beginners. However, for those looking to achieve real mastery of lettering, a fine tip brush pen would be a better investment. In summary, these colored pens are a decent budget option for basic practice, but their limitations in color saturation and line variation might leave more advanced users wanting more.

Great for calligraphy!
Great for calligraphy!! I haven’t tried them for Bible journaling but am hoping they don’t bleed because these will definitely be my favorite pens if they don’t! I have a large variety of pens and pencils but these are my favorite so far!

Great for experienced users
I am a huge Tombow fan, and this set did not disappoint. The Tombow hardtips are by far my favorite pen to use for hand lettering. They allow for precise, smaller lettering, while still maintaining the overall look of a larger, softer-tipped pen. My only complaint, which seems to be pretty common on here, is that the colors are not very vivid. While they still make very beautiful strokes, the colors are just not as saturated as my Tombow ABT dual brush pens. I've had no issues with any of them being dried out. Also, please ignore the one star review on here. These pens are not knockoffs. Tombow is a Japanese company that does not manufacture in the US. They do have a facility here, but it's for distribution. Their pens are made in Vietnam now, but as someone who has used both the Vietnamese and Japanese manufactured pens, I cannot tell a difference in quality.

Easy to Control
Great small tip brush pen. Easy to control, the tips have good rebound. I would say the best use is for smaller size lettering.

These are really nice markers!
The media could not be loaded. These makers are so nice. Firstly, the size of the brush pen is great for beginners. The pigment of the pens phenomenal! I like them for scripting and for just drawing for som stress relief. I like to layer my colors up and none of the makers get muttled. I can use a crapper paper or really nice paper and it comes out so good! The vid is just from a sketch I had laying around. They also last so long, for use daily I didn’t have to get a new pack for at least more than 1 year. I had to buy a second pack because I love it so much!
