This quilt is all about the fabric! The large squares are approximately 12 1/2" square- so it is fine to use fat quarters. If you have a large print that is quite varied- you may be able to cut more than one block from it. In that case- you will want to buy yardage to allow for fussy cutting. Also- you may prefer to repeat fabrics- such as a scenic print- to allow more of it to be seen. Finished Size: 53" x 71"
