I read the other reviews about the straps cutting into the area around the armpits. I'm a small boned woman, but have a middle-aged shape so had to buy the LARGE. I was worried it would be swimming on me across the shoulders and the straps then having to be pulled tighter to keep it from rubbing or cutting my armpit area. It was fine. The straps are very stiff, but this would be so for whatever size you bought. They do squish a bit width-wise if you fold your arms and that's when you feel them cut into you a bit. I solved this by taking a pair of fleecy winter gloves that had worn out in the fingertips. I cut off the fingers at the palm but left the thumb. Then I threaded them onto the straps with wrist side on the bottom and positioned them at the armpit area, tucking the thumb bit around the strap. They stay great and are very cushy and I don't feel the straps at all now.The brace not only pulls shoulders back, the upper back section of the brace is a firm mesh as well and you can feel your shoulder blades in the proper position so you know you are wearing it and it's correcting your posture! The lower back support "stays" are very strong and you get the added benefit of a nipped in waist and tummy. I might like to get a more pricey product sometime down the road, but for support and "doing what it says on the box".... this is it.

When you wear it it certainly makes you stand tall. You can feel it gives you good back support. It is uncomfortable though, especially under the arms. You couldn't wear it for long. The size guide only refers to waist size. On the box it also takes length from shoulder to waist into account. Perhaps if I had a bigger size it wouldnt pull so much under my arms. The sizing guide is unhelpful. The right size could be wonderful!

Brilliant product! I'm a slim size 6-8 and wasn't sure if this would be too big. However, the waist and the straps that come under the arms are adjustable and so this is perfect. I wear it over a T-shirt so I've haven't experienced the rubbing some people mention. There can be a slight discomfort around the shoulders but this is because it's doing what it should and helping correct poor posture. When I hold my shoulders correctly the discomfort eases. I really notice a difference with this product and I'm building up the time I wear it for. It's exceptional quality and very easy to use. I dithered over this purchase because of the price, but it's money well spent and delivery was quick.

Too short in body as other reviewers have said . Great at posture correction . But made my spine pain worse . Wore it over a couple of days and it's now in its box never to be worn again .

I have only worn it about three times in as many months, it does the job, but is a bit uncomfortable to wear over a period of several hours especially sitting down, but it is well made and I shall try to persevere with it

My elderly friend found it very uncomfortable and needs to wear a thin top underneath to prevent chaffing. She can't get it on and off herself and she lives alone. I helped her get it on and gently pulled it to get better alignment on her spine and the whole seam started ripping off( see photo) This was on the second wear.She finds the bars dig in especially on sitting so she Doesn't wear it at all.

I bought this product for a relative who finds it is really helping to correct posture. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs help to do this - it's very hard to do it alone if you've got into a bad habit of posture for some time. This product helps you to subconsciously remember the correct posture and commit it to bodily or muscle memory and to feel confident you can do this alone when not wearing it. It does rub a bit under the arms (a bit of padding helps when wearing like a sock or something helps so probably best to wear in the evening when home) but it's worth it for the massive benifits of better breathing, blood circulation and removal of back and shoulder pain and general stress that a bad posture keeps going and creates. I've given it five stars in spite of slight under arm rubbing because it is so excellent at posture correction and overall very comfortable when on.

I have worn this a few times, but it is not particularly useful or practical because it is uncomfortable. Because of this I have stopped using it and it is stuffed in a corner.
