This jigsaw is actually really easy to use for a complete novice like me!The laser guide is great for cutting in a straight line, especially if you use the fan to blow away debris.The torch is useful for following curved or non straight lines.It came with a few blades suitable for different materials.The spring loading mechanism is really secure and confidential felt confident using it because of thisI quite easily laid new flooring with the aid of this jig saw and it helped to cut around awkward places like the toilet bowl etc.I am impressed with the quality of it and am looking forward to finding some more uses for it in the future

i needed a cost effective jigsaw for various project mainly cutting metal and dint want to use the jigsaw I have as it would get covered in oil etc and wanted to keep it clean for wood work .the jigsaw comes with some bladeds , but I found they made the saw vibrate so changed them to the norm blades I use and found an instant improvement . The blade lock mechanism is the cam and spring type and will take any of the normal blades with no problem, the spring is quite strong so you need a bit of force to get the blade home but I did finds that the stronger spring kept the blade firmly home when cutting.The integrated laser is nice and bright and can be used in direct light with no issues , there is also a LED light that is just the right brightness.The sole plate has a plastic covering and this aids the jigsaw to move along the work piece smoothly .There is a fan to keep the tool cool but is also used to suck the cuttings away in to a standard vac connecter , one of the best features is to change this to blow around the blade moving the cuttings out of the way so you can see any marked linesThe 6 speed controller allows for different rates of cut on material and is great on high speed for sheet metal

I needed a cost-effective cutter for various projects. This jigsaw did the job very well. Minimal pushing required to make the cuts. Excellent cutting performance with plenty of power for the home DIY. It comes with a wood and metal blade. Just what I needed for cutting laminate flooring around the door architraves. The parallel guide works great for ripping down strips of ply. Easy to adjust and secure when locked in place by using the supplied Allen key. If you are on a budget and not expecting to use this every day you won’t go far wrong.

Been a godsend for fitting composite fencing. The laser level I thought would be a novelty but is actually very useful for lining up the cut but the metal sliding guide is absolutely brilliant and I’ve not seen such thing on a jigsaw before. This meant that every cut was perfectly straight (assuming that the original edge was straight)The included blades were adequate and did a pretty good job. Easy to load with a quick release mechanism so no searching for a screwdriver when it comes to swapping the blade. Six speeds for multitude of uses and materials. You can attach a vacuum cleaner if you need to keep dust and mess to a minimum.

This is actually a gift for my friend who does me loads of favours and I wanted to get a practical present.It's not very heavy and that makes it very manoeuvrable. It comes with spare blades of different lengths for different projects you may need to do.Really good value for money as I had a voucher too .. making it a brilliant gift for those on a budget

Great jigsaw to have in the home, good build quality and comes with additional replacement blades. Works very well, the laser pointer helps give a straight cut. Has 6 different speeds settings, depending on the material used to cut and easy to alter the angle to 45 degrees if needed. Great value tool!
