Delighted with this recorder. With 2 older children, there are already 4 recorders in our house... 1 each for them, somewhere... plus mine from school days hoarded in the garage somewhere, and ditto my wife's. We searched high and low, and could find zero for our daughter's start of secondary school next week, (a recorder is on the required kit-list).So we decided to get yet another, (now there are 5 in the house!)Anyway - super-fast this one arrived next day, and for just £8.99. Quality was considerably higher than we expected - really nice shiny material. it is plastic, but looks like that nice polished-wood you get on a clarinet. Sounds nice ang bright too - unlike most people, I actually like the sound of a recorder, and this one has a nice bright but rich sound, and not reedy or thready at all.Really nice colour, and a strong storage bag to take to and from school. Cleaning stick will keep it nice, and it also comes with a nice polishing cloth, and a block of wax to smooth the linkage between the different bits, and a score chart with some suggested tunes on it, plus a guide to which notes are achieved with which fingering. A really nice touch, (but not needed by us), is that it comes with a finger-rest for smaller children using it. We'll store that in the storage bag in case any future user with smaller hands picks it up, once this one has been hoarded for a few decades, but super-nice that such a rest was included in the packet.Could not be happier with this - and we will try to remember where we put it. I just know that now we've got yet another, the others will all magically turn up!! Can't recommend this highly enough.Peter

I’d like to add that’s my expectation was higher when I first saw Engraving, that’s my recorder is professional and baroque, because that’s why I expected that my recorder will be from proper wood made and it is not, but it has still nice sound and beautiful colour.
