Q: Where can I buy replacement sanding strips?

See ALI INDUSTRIES 7801 Micro Zip Sander Refill, 3.5" x 1" on Amazon. Expensive. Buy the original kit; it comes with 30 strips plus hand tool and costs half as much.

Q: I’m looking for options to sand the spindles on my oak stair banister (before painting ) . Would this kit be a good option ?

I have 60 spindles in our 130 yr old house and have the best luck with belt sander strips. They're about 1 1/2 inch wide. I just loop them around the spindle and saw back and forth with two hands. The Zip sander works well around the base in tight spaces.

Q: Does this really include 30 sheets? It doesn't look like it from the pics.

Mine doesn't have more than 20 extra, but they may include more now. I love this little sander. It is absolutely wonderful for small jobs and tight places.

I haven’t had to buy any replacement strips yet. I would think that the manufacturer would have replacement strips.

Perfect for crafts!

I kept seeing these on you tube crafting channels I decided to try one out! This sander is so much easier than a sand block. The grip is perfect and the design of it easily fits in small corners and edges.

A great tool for detail work and the included sanding pads last a VERY long time.

I use these a lot. The size and density of the yellow foam backing pad holder feels just right for detail work - firm but compliant. The hook and loop fastening is secure and the included supply of pre-cut sanding pads is more than adequate. The sanding pads seem to last and last. I blow them clean with a blast from the air compressor nozzle. I began with just one of these and quickly decided to buy two more so I always have a FINE, MEDIUM and COARSE pad ready to grab from my pegboard.

Nice and surprisingly useful!

I was surprised; this is perfect for me. I'd try using other sanders that were advertised as small, but this one is genuinely easy to use. The handle feels like silicone. It's manueverable and you even get a workout if you do it for a l8ng timem

Handy little tool!

The media could not be loaded. I love this little sander! Perfect for getting into little spaces and very easy to change the sandpaper. Super convenient!
