Absolutely sticky wet.
Have a rag and a jug of clean charcoal starter handy for cleaning up. Will not be removed from skin without a fight or a week or so to consider going away. Once cured to a clean surface, holds, fills and wears fills like boiler iron. Windshield attachment is only the beginning of what you can do with this stuff. The need for a serious dispenser is very real, keeping the tube warm is also beneficial and also shortens cure time I believe, I’ve not timed it or conducted scientific studies to confirm that last statement, it’s more like an impression. If you need something sealed and stuck and you can live with black sealer that has no problem creating the biggest mess ever if things go wrong. The results are worth the cost and you won’t have to concern yourself with that issue again.

Works well
I used this for making bushings in a pinch and it worked well. Definitely need to get it thoughly hot and use a pro gun. 26:1 was tough so look for a higher ratio if possible.

Did the job
Like most people were using the oven to heat it up or leave it in the sun. I just put it in boiling water. Making it much easier to get the glue out of the tube. Don't have to worried about making a mess abd dealing with the wife. It goes well on my car window.

It's strong. Expiration date on material is very short
This material is strong and will set quickly. Very hard to work with but that's probably the nature of it. It's sticky and will stay on your hands for a while.I would recommend its use for many things that requires a good flexible waterproof seal.

Excellent
This stuff is excellent. I've heard that Toyota uses this to attach windshields and back windows using this adhesive. I used it to attach a rear window on a Toyota Tacoma. Worked perfectly. Here are some tips if you've never used this before:1. If using a regular manual calking gun, make sure the neck fits properly in the gun. Some are designed a bit different and will not allow this to fit properly. Check this before you break the seal!2. If applying this with a regular calking gun, place the tubes under the sun for a couple of hours before using. This softens up the adhesive a bit making it much easier to squeeze out. Regardless, your hand will be numb after squeezing out two of these tubes so be in a comfortable position as possible.3. Lacquer thinner cuts this when it is still wet if case you get this on your hands or anywhere else. Keep some around.4. Cut the nozzle in a V shape to get the best seal as possible. There is a faint trace on the nozzle that allows you to follow with a utility knife.5. Move as fast as possible before it flashes off after applying. I wouldn't wait more than 5 minutes after dispensing.

Works extremely well and is the least costly.
I purchased DOW U-428 Plus Windshield adhesive to install a new rear window on my pick-up truck. This is the adhesive to use to adhere the window frame to the opening and to seal it against water entering the cab. It is a very thick and viscous substance which makes it extremely difficult to eject from the cartridge. I followed a verified purchasers advise by setting the tube in the hot mid-day sun. This helped soften the gelatinous glue, but it still took both my hands and strength to slowly coax it out. The black adhesive is one of the stickiest materials on earth! It will bond to most clean and dry surfaces. I wiped the window opening with a rag moistened with lacquer thinner to remove any oils or grime first. nitrile or latex rubber gloves are a must when using this glue. If it does come into contact with the skin it can be removed with mineral spirits, turpentine, paint thinner, etc. One cartridge was more than enough to seal a Ford Rangers' rear window (apx. 52" x 20" with a 1" bead). The cartridge is hermetically sealed at both ends and is made with metal shell. The screw on tip may be a problem (it was for me) in that it is much wider at the base. I had to hacksaw the caulkguns opening to accommodate the bigger tips base.
