Excellent shears
The were my favorite; for over,30 years, before they" disappeared " in the Ion .hurricane surge.

Great job cutting the headliner for our boat!

Sharp
The product’s sharp and mid weight so easy to use. Length is just right. Used to cut aluminum faced duct wrap to cover metal ductwork in crawlspace.

Extra large scissors
Sharp heavy duty scissors. They're big, heavy, and work. I use them for commercial roofing. I'll buy another when these inevitably get stolen on the job by someone that needs them more than I do.

Great shears for Goliath.
These shears are way too big for me. I’m a 5’7” woman with large hands. I knew they were 12” but didn’t realize how big that is in reality. I have to use both hands to open them all the way. I can’t comment on how well they cut fabric because I didn’t want to use them since I knew I had to return them.

King of Scissors
These are old school, do-not-run-with, massive scissors. They are very well made and what I would call heirloom quality---they have more in common with a cast-iron block plane than they do with your average pair of scissors. Scissors today tend to have plastic handles that hide the fact that the metal parts only extend an inch or so into the handles (less metal frame=less weight=less material the mfr has to use=higher profits). These are the real deal, the real McCoy, the brass ring---I gave them 4 stars for ergonomics only because they are so heavy and anyone with small hands is going to have a tough time operating them. I'm just being honest. Overall, these are extremely well-made, no-compromise scissors that, given their mass, sharpness, and size, could also serve as a lethal weapon. If you take care of them and keep them oiled they will last indefinitely.

Cuts multiple sheets of paper cleanly.
This scissors is "beefy" enough to cut multiple sheets of paper cleanly. The blades are heave enough that they remain in perfect cutting alignment during cutting of multiple sheets, and they have remained sharp despite some heavy use. I have not used this scissors on anything but paper, so I cannot attest to how they would perform on leather and heavy cloth. The all metal handles are quite durable, but they can become uncomfortable when cutting multiple plies of paper. I've found that a simple cloth glove worn on the cutting hand eases the discomfort. The long blades are great for long straight cuts, but could be a bit difficult to use for more intricate curved cuts. But this is a very good quality scissors for the straight cutting jobs that I purchased them for.
