Not good - very repetitive - no real content
This book is not good. I have been an avid reader for about 2 years now and really enjoy self help and books that help me understand the human brain/emotion. This book seems to just say the same sentence over and over again with no true and real content. I literally found myself skipping 3 sentences at a time, because I already knew what they were going to say, following the repetitive nature of the book. I would not recommend this book. If I didn’t have a library of all books I have read, I would return this one. If you need a book on human emotion, read How to Win friends and Influence people - can never go wrong with that book.

Constantly refers to social media
This book is ALL about social media, Instagram, Facebook. It’s really hard to read or try to relate. Might be a great book if you live and breathe social media 24 hours a day, otherwise it is useless.. very disappointed.

The most practical self-help book I've read.
Wow. I would rank this book up there with "The Power of Now" - Eckhart Tolle as a book that has profoundly impacted my life. Kamran gives practical tips that can be practiced to the fullest extent in regards to eliminating anxiety, overthinking, etc. Additionally, the book is set up to be easy to read with its own highlighted and bolded text that emphasizes the crucial points. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone striving to improve their own mental health and this is a must-read especially in these hectic and uncertain times.

Great read and effective techniques!
This book was an easy read with great toolsAnd techniques on how to quiet down an overactive mind. Kamran compares the mind to social media and how we control the content we view there. Highly recommend for anyone looking to calm anxiety or selfImprove their mind!

Thoroughly recommended!
I can honestly say that this book has really made me think again about how I managed my thoughts and life in general. This is a genuine and honest book and from the outset it is clear that the author is very experienced in this issue. The opening sections where he describes his own anxiety and what’s going on in his mind are extremely relatable and insightful. There are also practical tips and techniques with what he references as "daily actions" that can be applied to your thoughts and used to build up your mental strength. Even after only one or two occasions using these techniques they have already made me feel more at ease and more confident in myself.Thoroughly recommended!

YEEEEES!! LOVED LOVED LOVED.
I really love this book! It discusses mental health and anxiety in a fresh and innovative way which made me want to actively practice its tools and technique. The author's personal experience and expertise teaching moments make it impossible to put down and you'll find yourself finishing it in one sitting (and then going back and starting again). The Digital Mind section is genius and is the first book I've read that enabled me to understand that our minds (just like our phones) need constant software updates to stay fighting-fit and healthy. What I love so much is that is was the first self-help book I read that told me that all of this 'stuff' wasn't a one-time job but a constant (and joyful) daily practise that would have me live a better life (and enjoy the thoughts inside of my own head)The Foreword by Katie Piper is priceless too as it's such a perfect choice of the author to preface the idea that Your Mind is Your Home and it's the place you want to make as welcoming as possible...not for anybody else but for yourself.

A must read for anyone dealing with anxiety or depression.
I often experience depression and this book made me aware of what to do with my thought patterns to help me with my state of mind. An interesting read with clear steps on how to implement better ways of using my mind. I have also sent a copy of this book to my son who gets quite anxious ahead of exams as I think it will give him some useful coping strategies.

Disappointing
Wanted to love this. After all I like Kamran’s Instagram site. I found the book wanting. The writing jarred with me a bit, it made me feel worse if that makes sense. The early chapters seem to exacerbate all the thoughts and feelings. Rather than feeling relaxed by the tone I began to feel more panicked.I did not like all the “modern” suggestions like swiping and blocking or deleting - as if things are so simple. Just swipe left like some tinder app and other suggestions like send the image to the trash icon. Then even worse you are asked how many tabs you have open in your mind. Clean your hard drive he says!!I have no doubt that Kamran has his heart in the right place, but this book will make you think more about your thoughts not be at peace with them.He says at one point “showing clients how to stop doing anxiety...” really... not with these methods.Sending it back. So many better books for coming to peace with yourself. If you think you can swipe, block or stop your thoughts then have a go...I think you will be left with even more

Brilliant book
I love this book and what makes it much more readable is the fact that is written from the Author's own experience with anxiety. The book has helped me so much in how to change my thoughts on a bad day. It's liek if it's raining outside and miserable you don't have to be miserable yourself is the only way I can explain things. I have for the past 2 years suffered terribly with anxiety and had not been out of my home for 7 months because of this. This book makes me understand more about myself and how to be happier in my own mind. Thank you Kamran.
