The app that comes with this is absolute rubbish. Only worked on the 3rd Android phone I tried. Bought this for time lapse. Plugged in a camera (eos90d) and it does not trip the shutter. Head moves , but then app freezes and you have to change modes and back to time lapse. Help function does not work. 'Manual' gives zero info (not even indication of which of the 3mm plugs to use for the camera) - all trial, error, hit and miss

The build quality is incredibly sturdy, from the carbon fiber booms to the thumb screws for the adjustable feet and the smoothness of the gearing mechanism. A very simple unit to use, either hand operated by the flywheel or using the app controlled motor, it's easy to get excellent results. You will need to add your own mounting solution to hold your camera, but the standard 1/4 inch screw mount will accept any ball head, fluid head or other standard photography mounting system.Once set up, the app (provided by Ashanks) is pretty intuitive, allowing you to control starting and stopping points, speed of travel and how quickly the motor starts or stops. The motor is strong enough to pull the camera up a reasonable incline, so whether you adjust the legs independently for an incline, prop the slider against something, or use the mounting plate on the underside to mount to a tripod, you'll be able to pull off stunning movement for video shots, or hyperlapse photography. The included padded zipper case is perfectly suited for transport or storage, and has plenty of room and individual slots for all of the components. Well worth the purchase to add a very strong weapon to your photography arsenal!

My first slider after looking at ones 3x more expensive. The deal maker for me was the option to go manual. The motor makes some sound, which varies with speed. The motor works with an app, which is easy to use on my iPhone. Be sure to order a ball head if you don't have one. Is there a spare belt available? Seems sturdy. So far I love it.

The rails and all machining is very good, excellent job to the factory. However, the title of the listing includes "video." The motor moves too slowly for anything but extremely slow movement, so it is not really useful for video. Other listings have a built-in pan system as well, for nearly the same money.

Excellent quality, great pro, cinematic feel.This slider is super smooth and feels great while filming a subject.The Bluetooth motor worked well and connected to the app pretty flawlessly.There was a small bit of noise on the motor but went away after a few uses.If you need a quality/automatic X axis slider for your filming needs, don’t hesitate to purchase. (Ball head in fotos was not included)

The media could not be loaded. This product is very well made, very lightweight, and very easy to use. The motor is extremely quiet, you barely hear it running and it will not affect your video audio. The additional provided flywheel makes manual pans/dollys a breeze when you need ultimate control. This feature really sets this slider apart from other sliders on the market. When using the motor, It as a horizontal weight capacity of about 44lbs, and in vertical mode it can handle about 11lbs. The app is very easy to use. The only feature I feel is really missing on this slider is the ability to do an automatic follow focus shot. It would be a very nice addition to this slider and I hope that ASHANKS will address that feature in the future. Overall it is a fantastic slider and a welcomed addition to my video gear!
