The ABCs of Product Management (Very Young Professionals)

This book is ridiculously funny. It has a lot of inside jokes that product managers and others who work in tech would understand. AND the jokes are so good that folks outside of the industry will laugh out loud (lol!) too. The language and the pictures are suitable for babies and young children too. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants an insiders' guide to tech.

Have purchased this great, subtly cheeky book for several of my Product Manager friends’ kids and it’s always a hit! Great animations too.

This is a formulaic book with a terrible take on a lazy PM for every letter of the alphabet. It doesn’t read coherently. At best it’s a gag gift. And in reality it’s a waste of time. Refunded.

A great gift for children of fellow PMs!

It's a fun read with a sarcastic way to explain product management and product teams.If you want to explain product management to someone (kid or adult) this work is not for you.If you have 8.99 to spare, are familiar with product teams and want to read some inside jokes then it's for you

This book is great - it's witty and insightful, in a way that parents who work in product management will very much appreciate (you'll probably recognize many of the characters from your real-life colleagues!) And my child enjoyed the animal illustrations a lot (not sure he got the tongue-in-cheek humor, but I did!) A good book to keep bedtime reading for a baby or toddler interesting.

What a great way to teach kids about what you do! These are great if you’re in the industry or if you want to gift to your friends in the industry. They are a pretty accurate representation of the work, but also simplified for your toddler to understand! Best I’ve seen out there in explaining different occupations!

I bought the Kindle version of this and found it very entertaining. As somebody who is in the tech field and works with a lot of product managers, each letter/definition was very familiar. The book is written as literally an alphabet book where each letter describes some terminology in the field. The definitions are all very amusing, especially if you are a PM or work with one. I enjoyed reading this myself. I also read it to my 4 year old, and while he had a lot of questions, he enjoyed going through all the pages and reading about the characters and each of their roles.

The only thing this book conveys is that the authors have a cynical disposition. Which might be good for a product manager - but do we really want to convey this worldview to children?? These folks didn't really consider the audience for this product!!Also, the "inside jokes" are at the level of twitter trolls

I hardly write reviews but this book deserve it!I bought it as a baby shower gift for the PM of my team.Let's be clear, the book is presenting as a baby book but in fact is a sarcastic take on the PM job.It's spot on and hilarious!I'll update this review when my colleague get it;)
